"HealthWorks is an FQHC modeled as a “medical home” so as a patient, I can have a doctor’s office that is a home base rather than trying to piecemeal medical, dental, mental health care, pharmacy, radiology, or whatever from different practices and locations. I appreciate that I can (mostly) do everything all under one roof."
"It was a very wonderful visit at Healthworks today. Renewing my mother's health insurance and Mr. Denis M was very helpful and polite at all times.. Thank you so much!!!!"
"I had the pleasure of speaking with Yaquelin Hernandez to make an appointment for my son, and she was amazing. She took the time to explain everything, she answered all of my questions, and she was very kind. I am glad that I was able to make my son's appointment with her."
"My mom and I are patients at Leesburg facility with Dr. West. Unfortunately she’s always fully booked due to the great care she offers to her patients. We have no complaints about costumer service, the front desk always help us with what is within their reach."
"I have had quite a few bad experiences, from the front desk to patient care. One experience, I left numerous messages for my medication that is life sustaining and was made to wait two weeks for a response, which I never received. I was forced to go up to the facility and address the issue. I've had difficulty communicating with nurses and nursing assistants. Just yesterday, I was scheduled to see NP Megan Walker. I was running ten minutes late for my appointment, so I phoned to let them know and asked if I could still be seen. I was told I had a ten minute grace period; I made it with two minutes to spare. I was made to wait 40 minutes. When I stepped out from my room to ask if I would be seen soon, I was first approached by s nurse thst told me " I don't know that's not my unit" and walked away. Then I approached by NP Megan Walker, who was rude, Kurt, and short with me. She told me, "Well, you were late, and I have other patients to see." Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I was allowed a 10-minute grace period, then I was technically NOT late, and nurse practitioner Megan Walker should have waited an additional 10 minutes for me to arrive. She is most unprofessional and has a HORRIBLE bedside manner. Let me say this, this is the profession that you chose NP Megan Walker but if you are unable to perform your duties, well, and with a good attitude and a helping heart then you need to find another profession. I left without being seen. I asked the front desk to make a note in my chart to NEVER schedule me with her again. I then asked to speak to the manager, but I was told that she was about to go into a meeting and then was given a blue piece of paper to write my grievances. SMH Cornelia Hunt and Dr. Adkins have a wonderful bedside manor and are AWESOME!!!!"
