"This is the second time I gave minute clinic a chance, first time they declined to see my daughter because her insurance didn’t show on her system that she was active, I called and confirmed her insurance was active and it wasn’t enough, they said I had to pay out of pocket even though the insurance was clearly active. And today I walk-in for a flu vaccine. The pharmacy worker told me I needed to wait 10 minutes. I said okay no problem. Literally sat in the waiting area for an hour. And the nurse or whoever it is never asked me if I had an appointment or what I was there for. Until I asked how much longer for a vaccine ? Then she said 10 min! Yea 10 min they said 1 hour ago. My kid after the dang hour waiting threw a fit and I had to leave. Never coming back to this place for any kind of service."
"The appointment was easy and the nurse was very helpful. The nurse practitioner Belinda Fosuhene was very condescending and rude. I will not return to this location because of that."
"Don't waste your money. I went to two different minute clinics on Saturday 9 days ago and both were an absolute waste of time and money. My son woke up with double conjunctivitis on a saturday, and I didn't want him to have to wait until Monday for medicine. I took him to the liberty road minute clinic. The provider said an ointment was best. On Monday, he woke up in pain and crying and saying he couldn't see because his eyes were crusted shut. I took him to his Dr, who said the ointment i was prescribed is very old fashioned, and thats why it didn't work at all. He prescribed proper meds and my son was doing great by the next day. How is the provider lacking so much knowledge in meds that he would prescribe something so outdated that didn't work at all? As far as my appointment, I went to Ballenger creek and was prescribed meds for my eyes, since I had caught it from my son. The provider was very friendly and knowledgable, however, I went to the pharmacy in the same store and was told the meds need prior authorization from the Dr, which would be another day or so. I'm still waiting on that NINE days later. I've called the pharmacy who has tried to reach out to the minute clinic for other meds that don't need prior authorization, and still no response from minute clinic. Guess I threw my money away on both useless appointments. The pharmacy is 30 feet from the minute clinic. How has no one responded after 10 days. This is crazy. Lucky for me, my infection cleared up on it's own, since my visit was absolutely useless without being able to get my meds."
"I just arrived for my sched 1620 Tdap vaccination appt. An appt that had been confirmed through email. Even received a reminder @ 1445. Just to arrive, and see a hand written sign on the kiosk stating "Sorry for the inconvenience, minute clinic closed thru Monday"."
"I chose to go to Minute Clinic on Ballenger for a physical for work because I thought it would be faster and more convenient than trying to get in with my doctor’s office. They had no appointments that day or even the next day but could see me two days later, in the morning. I made my appointment and received an email to confirm. I checked that email for a link to fill out the pre-appointment paperwork that you usually have to complete but there was no link. I checked their website and there were no forms. So I showed up a few minutes early figuring they would have forms there. I asked the receptionist. She had no idea. So I checked in on the tablet and waited. The NP, Shannon, saw me 5 minutes after my appointment time and after reviewing my paperwork said I was supposed to follow this link and compete the history form (I somehow missed this on one of my forms). While she was talking to me I quickly finished it (it took less than two minutes) but she refused to see me and told me I needed to reschedule. I explained to her that I had a deadline for work and I really needed to get it done ASAP. She made it clear she didn’t really care and couldn’t even provide me with any explanation as to why she couldn’t see me other than “you were supposed to have it done when you showed up”. I got the distinct impression I was being turned away simply because she could and that was one less patient for her to see. Next time I’ll save myself the hassle and the dispassionate care and visit my primary care provider."
