Weis Markets

"Have always had luck shopping at Weis. The stores are very clean. Meat, fish and veggies are fresh. They have a nice variety of baked goods fresh daily. I feel like I've gotten the best value for my money. Staff is exceptionally helpful. The in-store lottery makes it convenient to buy a lottery ticket. Senior discount and coupons make shopping cost effective. Their store brand is equal to name brands and worth trying. I frequently shop at Weis markets. I have also volunteered for a local food pantry and Weis was always been supportive of and made donations to our pantry. They fight food insufficiency not only globally but where it also counts here in our local and surrounding areas. I have in the past used home delivery from Weis and unlike other supermarkets their shoppers always made good choices for cuts of meat, fresh vegetables and baked goods and dairy. I would recommend Weis and will mention that since jobs in retail are extremely demanding, I try to be kind to the employees and I have always had positive shopping experiences."

"Not really what I've expected not really a big fan of someone who is a cashier go on and on talking about certain subjects. And it was very difficult to leave. And almost made us late for a doctor's appointment and they don't have the quality workers the other stores have."

"I did my shopping this past Sunday evening and there were no less than 6 employees just standing around, not one regular check out open and not one of them could tell me which aisle the bread crumbs were in. One of the women I asked responded quite curtly that everyone knows they are in aisle 10. They were indeed not in aisle 10! Why have so many people on the payroll if literally not one of them is helping customers?"

"They had lemons for 79 cents! Across the street the same lemon was 33 cents! Felt like a rip off. Also, a couple of weeks ago, the attendant was impatient and made me feel rushed and unwelcome after they announced the store was closed. Just don't like it when they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you wrap up your purchases. So I will be taking my business across the street where service with a smile is guaranteed and patience is part of customer service!"

"I’ve been coming to this Weiss in Flanders New Jersey for a very long time and every time I come I’m always disappointed with the customer service. I hate the self check out lines because every item causes an issue with the system so instead, I tried the one and only check out line that actually had a human, and she was rude, tossed around items that needed a bit more care, bagged pine sol with food items & put my eggs at the bottom with heavy items on top! What the hell is wrong with people! What has happened to the customer service industry? It’s pathetic."
