Reviews of New Season Treatment Center – Hagerstown
"Was notified that my personal information was being used to keep billing my insurance when I wasn't even a patient here anymore. My identity was stolen by employees at this clinic."
"Now that I've been going to this particular location for going on 4 years... (Will be 4 years this November 2O23)... I've had time to process a whole lot. The counselors are very caring. They're really helpful and kind. They want to see you do well. The nurses are super friendly. So are the doctors. As far as wait times, well, TBH, that all depends on what time you get there during the morning. Like me for example. I pickup on Mondays and I try to go before 7am, if I get there before 7am, and I don't have a UA, I'm usually in and out in about 1O-15 minutes. In my opinion, this is one of the better clinics in the Hagerstown area. They all want to see you do good and stay clean and sober for the rest of your life. Not saying you'll have to be here that long, but, just enough to get stable to where you feel safe and comfortable with yourself. I also wanted to say that I've had 3 or 4 counselors since I've been there, and the one I have now, I absolutely love! She's the BEST one and she makes sure I don't skip appointments. So, she really cares. Unlike the other ones I had who let me go my own way. This one cares, so thank you Rae. You're the best!!!!!"
"I’ve been going here for treatment since 2017. I’ve had my ups and downs throughout my early treatment as most do, but New Seasons has always been great to me. My only complaint would be how counselors seem to come and go at a rapid pace. You’ll have a counselor for a few months and as soon as you get comfortable with them the counselor is quitting and you have to be switched to a new one. I’ve had my current counselor for over 1 year now thank goodness. If I had to do it again, I would choose the same treatment center. I plan on phasing out of the program hopefully by next year and I thank New Seasons for helping me stay clean!"
"Let's address the elephant in the room: it feels like a lot of people around here are missing the mark when it comes to doing their job correctly. I find myself facing a significant balance due to their failure to check my insurance coverage. Shouldn't verifying insurance be the first step in the process? It's a basic expectation that seems to have been overlooked. Furthermore, despite being a patient here for almost a year, I've only had the opportunity to meet with my counselor twice. This lack of consistent support is disheartening and undermines the potential for progress. It's hard not to view this situation as a joke, and it's no wonder that some individuals may opt for a different path. However, let's not lose sight of the bigger picture. It's essential for all of us to be part of the solution rather than perpetuating the problem. It's crucial to give credit where it's due, and in this case, the credit belongs to each individual who has taken steps towards their own recovery. While this place may have played a role in your journey, ultimately, it's your personal determination and resilience that have truly saved your life. So, let's strive for improvement together. It's time for this place to take a closer look at their processes, address the gaps in care, and prioritize patient well-being. By doing so, they can empower individuals to reclaim their lives and foster an environment that truly supports lasting recovery."
"I have been a patient since 2018. Left an relapsed in 2021. Now back in here and this place has saved my life! I am doing good starting to lower my dose to come out. If it weren't for New Season I dont know where I would be in life. The staff is great and friendly. The new system is awesome! Thank you to all staff for everything u do an continue to do! They treat you like family!"
