"Been coming here for about a year and I cannot recommend them enough. I always use Genevieve who is an actual artist - as other reviews will testify, this fact shows in the haircuts she gives. I recommend this place a thousand times over. Excellent people working here, really cool laid back atmosphere w/good music and most importantly always a great haircut. (You get what you pay for). You won't regret using Born Free as your barber. My advice - always schedule in advance because they book up quickly which IMO is a sign of a great barber. And don't forget to tip!"

"Genevieve is the best! About a week ago I got a cut for a black tie gala, and there was a slight differentiation between the sides of my head. IT WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT, not on her at all! I spoke up wayyyy too late about doing something slightly different than the normal cut I have been getting from her for months. She was able to squeeze me in two days before the gala and she fixed me right up, cleaned up my beard and got me looking fresh for the gala! This shop is all around amazing. I have gotten haircuts from both Andy and Genevieve, and I have friends who even drive into the city from the suburbs to get cut here. You will not be disappointed!"

"I've been coming to this place for about a year now. I used to cut my own hair for 15+ due to the fact that I was never satisfied with what I paid to be done to my hair. I eventually found someone who I thought was my forever hair tender who's work was perfection. He eventually switched careers and I went through the phases of emotion trying to find someone on his level. It took a lot of trail and error, but I've finally found it here. I've had everyone cut my hair here and they all do fantastic work. I guarantee that this place will leave you feeling 100% satisfied with your hair. Atmosphere is great too with beautiful indoor plants and saloon like feel. Additional accomodations include beverages and a mini bar. Everyone here is pretty chill and down to earth. Couldn't recommend this place enough."
