"Marcia and Bob at Carousel Carpets were amazing to work with. Project was handled with kindness and professionalism from the very start. The installers were respectful and did an amazing job installing carpet and vinyl flooring. I highly recommend them."
"We chose Carousel Carpets and Floors because the sellers of the home we bought used them. It was sight unseen, however, from multiple family and friends, the first floor carpets looked new and wanted to match the upstairs. We spoke to Bob and felt immediately comfortable. We were having work done to our home before moving in all while living in Florida. Bob went to our house same day. He took measurements and helped us choose an affordable carpet that looked/felt nice. He even had samples mailed to us as our local carpet companies didn't have them in-stock. Bob recommended we have our small dining room hard-wood floors refinished as we didn't realize the shape they were in. I was leery due to cost but the total for carpet (removal and install) and refinishing was better than the carpet alone from two other companies. At one point, I found out via photos from our HVAC service, that our front room has hardwood floors. I called Carousel immediately because I'd prefer to have them refinished. Bob had left on vacation and Norman helped me. He went straight to our home to view the condition, which I was extremely grateful for. My armpits were sweating with excitement. Unfortunately, I did not get better photos from him and he said they were in terrible shape and to just keep the carpet that was being installed anyway. I had to trust him, although I wanted Bob's second opinion (but vacation). Six months later and the flooring still looks great. No complaints. We did learn our lesson that if you need stairs carpeted a certain to tell them you want them - Hollywood vs Waterfall (terms we learned after moving in). I thought it was an automatic 'duh' for Hollywood, but was installed as Waterfall. That's the only part I don't like about the install. And, I'm sorry, Norman wasn't as friendly to me as Bob. Lastly, Bob even came over to our home after we moved in to address questions we had about our home in general. He came within a day or two (I can't remember), and helped us. He sent Phil over as well. He is a pretty cool guy, and enjoyed his willingness to fix our old home's floor. Thank you!"
"Don't Recommend. When they removed my doors to install the carpet, they didn't rehang the doors properly. Two of my doors were now hitting the door jamb and would barely close. I brought it up to Norman, but he acted like the installers wouldn't dare do that. He said they only remove the hinges. Anyone knows that sometimes door hinges are hard to remove and therefore people sometime unscrew the entire hinges. Needless to say I had to pay a professional to come out and fix it. He saw how the installers didn't even screw the hinges all the way in. Cost me about $300 for something that the installers at carousel were responsible. The other issue was the carpet that was actually installed was totally different than the sample. I didn't like what was installed. Norman was suppose to call the manufacturer customer service to see about there customer satisfaction guarantee, but I'm not convinced that he did. Norman kept saying he would call me back to give me updates, but he didn't ever do it. Like a lot of things, the customer service is great when you are about to buy, but horrible when something goes awry and they don't want to accept responsibility for something that they obviously did."
"I've been working with Bob at Carousel Carpets for thirty years, both for my home and office. Every time I had the need for any flooring replacement or repair, he came up with a solution that fit the job perfectly. Their installers are timely and they do an excellent job. This is a business that stands the test of time and continue to deliver outstanding service consistently."
"We went through Home Advisor and talked with 3 other flooring contractors. Some prices were lowish, but they were pushy and lacked knowledge of Bowie houses and specifics of what flooring was best on a concrete slab, etc. Carousel was not pushy, answered every question, knew exactly what we needed to know and even accommodated our schedule. They gave us all the heads up information we needed. The installation of a whole level of flooring was done very professionally in a day and a half. It looks like this is the way it always should have been."
