"I've been going here for years and it's my favorite place to get high quality lumber. Stuff like walnut, cherry, ipe, zebra wood, or at least white or red oak. You won't find pine or 2x4s here. Their pricing is competitive with the place in Frederick. They have always had a good selection of boards in both 4/4 and larger, and often you can find some beautiful large live-edge pieces. They can mill stuff for you too. There are two buildings. The one on the left has most of the stock and the owner whereas the one on the right has the shop making custom orders like cabinets, trim and furniture, but it also has the exotic slabs, so worth stopping there too. Although there are no salespeople in that building, so if you find something you have to go next door and tell Joe, the owner. Definitely worth a visit."

"Owner (?) and store are amazing. Lots of high quality and wide variety of lumber. Went above and beyond for me when I was coming from a disappointing Home Depot foray (is there ever any other kind) for black walnut. I really needed it that day and could only get there right before closing, and they still covered my purchase and customized it for my specs. Honestly, I have no idea about pricing, so I can’t really comment about that. But you’re getting quality, so it’s worth it regardless."

"Great place that I wish I had found earlier. Great selection of lumber. Picked up some gorgeous hard maple boards and some red oak. For a small fee they'll plane, S4S or run the wood through the joiner. I'll definitely be coming back here often."
