Merit School of North Stafford

"I had high hopes for this preschool and I was so disappointed with the services provided. This is one of the only preschools that still opens at 5:30am for folks like me who have to do early drop offs. This facility and its staff have no idea how to work with young boys of color. More focus and training needs to be applied to the current population of little ones who are coming up through the time of covid, when we were mostly inside. Additionally, for children who may have a higher level of anxiety or overall high energy level, this is not the place for them. The director has no compassion and is more focused on quoting rules from a training manual than actually doing a thorough job. When I withdrew my children, one of the teachers followed me around as I ensured that we were not leaving anything behind. She acted as if she was "looking for something." I had no idea and no one told me that they had thrown all of my kids' things into trash bags and left them up front. Very disrespectful! For the cost of the tuition there....awful, just awful."

"We've had two of our children in Minnieland at North Stafford for 18 months. We've been in almost every class level. My children absolutely love their teachers and the activities they get to do at school. The teachers are genuine, loving, and very polite when interacting with parents. We have nothing but positive things to say about Ms Minda, Ms Jade, Ms Jeannette, and Ms Chanel. I highly recommend Minnieland at North Stafford for anyone looking for a positive environment for their children."

"A really good friend of mines daughter goes here and she only been here for 3 weeks and its been nothing but an headache. They aren't taking care of her properly. She is pulling her out because of the services they are providing. I am a child development teacher and some of the things she has been telling me im sick to my stomach about it. They sent her daughter home with a dirty diaper on. This center needs to do better and give their teachers more training. No parent should feel as though their child isn't being taken care of while away from them."

"My daughter has been with Minnieland since she was 6 weeks old. They have treated her amazing since the first day she got there. She will be 2 in May. I highly recommend Minnieland as being one of the top best daycares in the Stafford area."

"My son has been at Minnieland since he was an infant (He is now 4 years old) and I absolutely love them. My boyfriend and I are both working parents and cannot thank them enough for everything they do for him. For the first time (ever) Minnieland is closed on Veterans day so that the teachers can have a professional work day without having to work on a weekend. While I can see how it might inconvenience some of us, they work hard to teach and take care of our children and should be able to enjoy their weekends off just as us parents do. I know that a lot of other daycares are closed for professional development days (along with pretty much every other holiday that Minnieland continues to stay open on). These teachers are also here when it snows and strive to stay open for us parents who are still expected to work no matter the weather. My son loves the teachers and management, as do we. Any issue I've brought to Management have always been handled and I truly appreciate them for that. We are expecting another child in February and it puts my mind at ease knowing that we have such a caring place for him to go when he arrives. I love love love Minnieland @ North Stafford."
