"Its a great park with walking trails, bathrooms, plenty of trash cans and a few benches. Lots of trees. Stafford needs a fenced dog park"
"Nice park for baseball, soccer, a decent trail and picnic spots with some outdoor grills as well. I go to quite a few parks but the huge biting flies that can trail you in the late spring/summer are insane. Not the park's fault of course but be aware!"
"We discovered Willowmere by accident when we were looking for a park nearby to take our grandson to. It's a great park for little kids because there is a lot of open space and a pretty good play area. The play area has multiple slides and climbing options. And there are swings too. There is a nice walking path that takes you by the 4 baseball/softball fields. It looks like there is a concession stand but it's not open in the winter and there are heated restrooms which are open year round. We'll be back the next time our grandkids visit."
"Really great park. There are several soccer and baseball fields, a playground, and picnic tables. We've been coming here for years, and are always very happy."
"This was a great place for a family outing. I recommend looking at what time of the day you go and what time of year you go because it is a big sports complex with several soccer fields and several baseball diamonds. We went on a Saturday morning, mid-morning, in early June and it was fantastic. At one point we were literally the only ones in the park. There are amenities for BBQs there, there are restrooms, there are playgrounds, and there is about a 3rd mile paved walking, or bike riding path around the park. We took our four year old so he could practice bike riding off half and learning which side light on and it was perfect. The playground could use some preventive maintenance, and one of the swings was missing but it was still a great adventure and we will be back :-)"
