"The company tries to put on a persona of being a family-oriented business that prioritizes helping its customers, when in reality they are a business that looks to squeeze out every dollar they can from those they supposedly want to help. My heat went out in the early hours of Friday, and I have a one-year-old in the house, so I needed to get the heat back up and running as soon as possible. I figured I would call Lutron’s since I live in town, and they are right down the road from me. The individual I spoke with sounded very caring and assured me they would make me a priority and put me on an emergency list of some sort. They got a tech out to my place around 2:30-3:00 PM, roughly, and this individual was at my residence for no more than 10 minutes max. Stopped in, saw my boiler was out of commission, and they told me that the earliest they could get me up and running would be Monday, and that was the EARLIEST, so who knows if it would have even been taken care of by Monday or not. That obviously was not going to work with me having a one-year-old. I ended up calling a different heating company that is actually family-oriented, just a father-son business, and they drove out 40 minutes and were able to get me back up and running on Saturday. I knew I would owe Luton’s something, but I didn’t expect them to charge me $80 for 10 minutes of their time. I think that is a little outrageous, especially considering they couldn’t even provide me with the service I needed in the time I needed it done, and when you consider their offices proximity to my home. I think there are better options out there if you have heating issues. EDIT: Based on the response to my review I should note I had my whole boiler replaced and not a temporary fix done. I also never received an estimate like I was told I would. I went about 24 hours without hearing anything from them when I was told I would get emailed an estimate."

"I called because I had a leak. They sent someone out and found out he couldn't fix it because my plumbing throughout the house was bad. He looked at everything and took pictures so they would be able to give me an estimate. I was charged $97.50 for him coming out and never got a call with an estimate. It's been a month now. I called to find out if they had done my estimate just to be told to call back the following week. If they didn't want to do it, they just should have said so. I paid $97.50 for nothing."
