"We came from San Diego and enrolled our daughter when she was 18 months old - she's now two years old and her language, gross motor skills and coordination have dramatically improved since we put her in school. Not to mention, she's potty trained before she turned 2!!! That is all thanks to the gifted, talented and loving guides and staff at Guidepost West Alex. The classrooms are clean and well-organized within the Montessori way. And while many schools will claim they have a Montessori approach many are not accredited like Guidepost is. We are especially are grateful as the administration and staff does an amazing job communicating, developing programming and getting activities together for the students outside of the classroom. Trunk or treat was the BEST! But it's truly the guides that make our experience so lovely!! They are so gifted and we're lucky to have them as our daughter's teachers. Yes, admissions are challenging but in our experience that was true of almost every solid preschool and accredited Montessori school in our area. Get on lists early - especially if you are considering Montessori - worth it!"

"I have tried getting my daughter enrolled for six months. When someone finally sends me information (after physically going into the location) I thought I was good to go. Then they wouldn’t answer the phone, my emails, their voicemail is full, and never call me back when I get ahold of the front desk. I thought we were enrolled when I got the forms to fill out and saying we’re starting on x date. That wasn’t the case when I received the same forms. It has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a childcare facility. If you’re treating a parent like this, how are you treating children? I’m so disappointed as we were thrilled to have our daughter go here."

"After touring the school we thought it would be an amazing fit for our daughter. We inquired about the application process and next steps, but never heard back. I followed up over the phone to the school's leadership but they told me to wait until I heard back from Colleen (her mailbox continues to be full). No response over email or phone for over a month, although I kept checking in. I took their silence as a sign and had to find another school for my daughter. I'm disappointed to say the least, and shocked by the lack of basic professionalism/responsiveness."
