"We were happy to have found Monarch Preschool College Park shortly after we moved to the College Park area. The teachers are warm, knowledgeable, and caring. And the lines of communication are always open between parents, teachers, and staff. Our daughter is thriving, making friends with classmates, gaining important social-emotional skills, and learning academic skills too (recognizing letters, numbers, and learning about a range of topics). We appreciate that MPCP is inclusive and has a diverse student body. We find the full-day schedule plus aftercare works well for our family, and the price is reasonable for the DMV area."

"Being a stay at home mom for 4 years, I was apprehensive to send my daughter to preschool for several reasons. However, my husband and I recognized the importance of Kindergarten readiness and knew that our daughter would benefit from being in a more structured learning environment the year prior to Kindergarten. MPCP has exceeded our expectations and hopes in many ways. First and foremost, we feel that our child is safe and well taken care of by the facility, staff and teachers. Their safety protocols are never taken lightly and the staff is always in communication with each other and parents. Second, our daughter LOVES going to school! This says a lot in itself. She adores her diverse friend group, thrives in the routine, and gets excited about all that she's learning. Third, we enjoy how family-centered this school is. They host fun events, welcome our input into our child's social and academic education, and encourage collaboration between school and home life. Lastly, we require a unique schedule that many preschools do not offer, but MPCP is more than willing to work with families on a schedule that works for them and at a reasonable price for the DMV area. We are thrilled that our daughter is part of the MPCP family and will no doubt be ready for Kindergarten in the Fall. We highly recommend this school!"

"Recently, I had the privilege of touring the monarch academy with the center’s, Director, Mrs. Taylor. The facility is extremely well run, organized, and all of the kids were actively engaged in hands-on activities. The staff was very welcoming and I had the opportunity to say, “hello” to various students as they walked through the hallways. The facility is bright and represents what you would expect a preschool to look and feel like."

Monarch has also been a safe place for our child to grow socially and emotionally. The teachers and staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and they care about the children in their care. We feel that there is the right amount of structure for learning and exploring, and allow for ample play time. We like the curriculum they follow."
