"There was a winter sale when I went. The restaurant wasn’t as clean as some of the other locations I’ve been to. Be careful with what you eat there because the Swedish meatballs got me puking and I probably got the stomach flu because of it."

"I love IKEA! I go to IKEA to walk around. Clear my head, get new home decor ideas and to eat the delicious foods; to be honest. Occasionally, I go to the “As-IS” section and get some really good deals! Occasionally. I buy something’s if the price fits my budget. The furniture I have purchased from IKEA to include a mattress, dresser set, kitchen stuff are all still in great shape and I am using them all with a smile! I find all of the products to be are made! I live the ikea catalogue too. I love the College Park Maryland location!"

"Insta: dmv_reels I love going to ikea on a weekday to avoid a huge crowd. Go there early if you want more space and peace of mind. Food is good too. But i feel like ikea has gotten more expensive."

"Not what it used to be, but since the pandemic, what is? Everything is one step uglier and sadder than before. But Ikea seems to have Americanized a little. One of the draws to Ikea was their World View on home furnishings. Most people in the world don't live in McMansions. They often live in spaces 1000sq.ft. or less, which is the space I occupy, so all the compact furniture, creative storage solutions, fold-down tables, etc., has been wonderful! They absolutely still make that stuff, but they seem to also want to enlarge much of what they make to fill the huge, barn-sized dwellings most of our eco-minded citizens own. Overall, however, I still love the store. They still have exciting products, good prices, complementary furniture, and unique household goods. They could make it easier to navigate (was more confusing than a Vegas casino). They need to return to the reflective store map rather than the simplified (complicated) store "map" based on the oversimplified NYC subway system map. It's only because I recently visited NYC that I figured out their navigation system. This store is near the District of Columbia. If you'd like to base the store map on a subway map, mimic the DC Metro map at the DC adjacent store. People in the DC area are familiar with it. PS: The salon vignette was sublime. This is why I love this store!"
