"We love New Day Preschool. I am a teacher and very picky when it comes to choosing school for my daughter. The teachers have all been there long term ( no teacher turn over rate) which is reassuring as a teacher and parent, knowing this means it is a tight knit and supportive community. The parent and teacher relationship is fluid as they post daily pictures of what they learned in school, and of recess. It’s nice to see what lessons my daughter learned, and who/what she freely chose to play with that day! I never had an unanswered email or call go more than 24 hours. Also I love how they aren’t couped up in a building all day. Our daughter’s 3s class went on a field trip to Butlers Orchard this fall, they go outside everyday for the playground or for other lessons: music outside, science experiments outdoors ( they made and watched a volcano explode recently!) The Baltimore Aquarium came to school, and a petting zoo last year when she was in the 2s. Holiday parties are plenty which parents are welcome to come inside and see their child in their own space. The director is on the ball, and very safe. No one can be buzzed in without her coming to personally let you in, which I have looked out for when touring schools. The teachers re-teach what we learned at home, from when she was potty training, to when she had speech therapy, they taught and practiced the same skills to help her become the independent kid she is today. We love New Day!"
