"Amazing place, prices were reasonable. I appreciate the open concept where you can see other pets being examined. Thankful for how quickly our kitty was able to be seen by Dr. Kelly who took time to speak with me and answer my questions as I was driving there in a panic because my poor cat was in pain and discomfort. She was knowledgeable and patient with my questions and was kind and caring… everything I want in a veterinarian handling my pet’s care in times of need! Not only was Dr. Kelly phenomenal but I also enjoyed the comradery from the whole team of women who were there. My husband and I felt comfortable staying there overnight and they provided us with a private room with blankets and pillows. Snacks, candy, coffee, and tea were available. Clean space too which is important. Thanks so much Kelly & VEG team!"
"I was referred to VEG after learning that my dog had eaten 8 brillo pads. None of our local emergency vets had capacity and/or the capability to remove them. I have never been to an emergency vet quite like this. You can stay with your pet through all of the exams and procedures that are performed - never being separated. This is comforting for both you and your pet. It was interesting to see the endoscopy that was performed, however, I did opt out of watching the surgery. Bean did great and made an uneventful recovery. I can't say enough good things about Dr.Foley, or recommend this practice enough! Hopefully, I never have the need for another emergency vet, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to go to VEG - Falls Church."
"Quite simply an amazing experience. No other vet in the DC area would see us for our dog’s emergency- The VEG receptionist asked how quickly we could get there. The staff are incredible, the facility absolutely world class, and the care was wonderful. If your pet has an immediate issue, absolutely call VET"
"I have never experienced such amazing care in all my years in pet care, or with my own pets. VEG is such an amazing company and this location specifically has given us so much peace and comfort about our Kobe. My dog started experiencing major health issues last February and ever since was in and out of vets quite frequently. Our first VEG trip was so much less hectic than anywhere else. The staff was so attentive and caring and Kobe, being such an anxious dog especially at vets, even seemed to notice the difference. We visited VEG two more times and the last was to very unfortunately euthanize him. We always preferred at home euthanasia since the vet was never his favorite place, but due to time sensitivity we didn’t have the luxury of waiting for that. Our next best option was taking him back to VEG where he was known so well. His nurse Brittany, who’d seen him all 3 times was able to treat him again for the last time and did such an amazing job every time. Kobe seemed to be so much more comfortable with her and made us feel so at peace with our decision. The doctor who performed the procedure was so informative and patient with us and gave us all the time in the world. From the person at the front desk, to all the people working in the back, they truly make you feel like family. I cannot say enough amazing things about VEG and I feel so lucky to have found them and trust my Kobe to them."
"HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice for urgent care/emergency care. Dr. Storey and staff took excellent care of our very small dog (still somewhat sedated in the pic). VEG allows you to stay with your pet the entire time. You can participate in their care at your option, which I greatly appreciated (other emergency vets typically take your pet leaving you to wait and worry in the lobby - usually for a few hours). While there, I observed the doctor and staff taking care of other patients and families, including one whose dog was passing away. The entire family was allowed and eventually given a private "comfort" room for more privacy. I admired and was grateful to VEG for their compassion and care throughout the whole experience - not only for my own dog but others as well."
