"We brought our 2 healthy cats in for a routine check up. We had an appointment with Dr.Puscheck. We felt rushed and pushed into, running tests and doing a full work up of blood, urine and stool. They made us feel like we weren't responsible pet owners if we didn't do it. We decided to do it for one of our cats, and wait on the other. Our bill was still over $850 and our cats have NO issues. Also, when we came to drop off a stool sample as a follow up, they were unexpectedly closed. We came on a Sat at noon. Their posted hours are 8-3 for Saturdays. On a side note, if you are lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr.Goldfarb, he is incredible. Patient with the animals, knowledgeable, takes time to talk with the owners and shows genuine care. He is certainly the highlight of the whole operation and you will have an opposite experience to the one that I described above."

"I have been calling fairfax animal hospital about a week in regards to my dog's prescription for heartguard and nextgard. I left a vm. My VM and calls were never returned. I have to keep calling them for an update with each front desk staff telling me something completely different. Today, they gave me a different excuse and update... said I have to come in for blood work which is like 300 dollars so I can get his prescription which is another 500 dollars. Just got off the phone with Aly and she hung up on me when I asked should I call tomorrow. It's always about money. My pet isn't due for an annual visit until February 18th. Terrible customer service. So disappointed. Will most likely look elsewhere. I have been a loyal customer since about 1998. All my dog's were German Shepherds and I took all of my dogs there- Whisky, Dante, and Princess. Now I have Odin."

"The doctor and staff were very friendly. The doctor was through with the exam and showed a lot of care for my kitten. The staff love what they do and it shows through their attention to my kitten."
