"“I feel like they gave you the boiler plate curly haircut that everyone has these days” came in for a trim, came out with a fully different hairstyle from what I had said I wanted, as well as the pictures I had shown. I was excited to find a barber catered towards black hair, however, this place is not the best for anyone growing out their curly hair and looking for a trim and fade for easy maintenance + they lasted 3 hours trying to cut my hair, and they spent most of it giving me a fade, which is no shame as curly hair can be difficult but I would’ve appreciated some honesty as a years work of growing out my curls went to the toilet in a too long of a haircut session, and also it was very overpriced for what I asked."

"Vibes are immaculate at this place. I've seen two different folks here, Kevin and Shane. Their work is top notch. Kevin can fix other people's mistakes and Shane is deliberate and precise with his cuts. Conversation is chill, everyone is calm, and there's a good movie on in the background. Can't ask for more."

"As a Black man the barbershop is a sacred place it's a place where we go to get a good haircut strike up a healthy conversation pay and go home. It's a cultural thing. Unfortunately this Barbershop like many other Black barbershops in Pittsburgh have an attitude problem. The barbers are rude and if they are tired or are having a long day they say it out load and complain while cutting your hair, killing the mood and creating unnecessary tension. The cuts are not spectacular and The barbers here also do not say thank you after you pay them as if they are doing you the customer a favor. Honestly I think the age of nice and talented Black barbers are dying out really sad."
