"Made an unplanned visit to the ER due to bronchitis, and not being able to breathe. I was seen immediately- all of the staff were professional, friendly, and extremely attentive. Specifically, Carlo, Autumn and Ally. As many negative reviews that the hospital receives, wanted to highlight an amazing experience. 5 stars across the board. Thank you for making a bad situation as best as possible."

"This is my second time coming here and both experiences sucked. My first experience, My 70 year old mother in-law has a swollen hand. I told them that when she forgets to take her diabetic medicine, her hand and feet swell. The triage lady told me it looks like a bite to her even though there is no entry point. She made her a priority 4. we waited for 3 1/2 more hours after her triage and left. She hasn’t eaten in four hours and they didn’t give ahoot"

"The emergency department is a joke. My husband was taken to FHH for a suspected heart attack. The staff were rude and unresponsive. The wait times are ridiculous. Then we were sent a huge bill for “hospital expenses” that were not covered by our insurance. Which is really funny because I struggled to get a cup of water for him from the staff after he had been sitting for hours with no fluids. I guess dehydration is good for you when you’re ill."

"My grandmother had a fall at her nursing home. She was taken to Frederick ER to rule out a fracture. She had X-rays done and was safely able to go back to her nursing home within a few hours. All nursing staff was kind and easy to talk to. Whenever I called to check in I had to wait a few minutes to get the nurse. Compared to past experiences with Medstar montgomery general hospital where we waited HOURS to be seen by a doctor and this was a 5 star experience! Thank you!"

"I came here late Thursday night with abdominal pain. Although I had to wait 6 hours for a room to open up, I am highly impressed and happy with my experience. They were able to diagnose me, get me medicine to help with the pain and get me into surgery in little time. I was very impressed with how fast everything moved once I finally got into a room. The experience I had with the doctors, nurses, and surgeons was the one of the best experiences I’ve had with hospital staff. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I felt very comfortable and taken care of. Thank you for all of your help."
