"I have periodically visited the salon, as I live out of state and travel from Maryland. I have a favorite style and feel Quan does well with styling and the products used appear to be top quality. My main concern is client relatability and listening to my wants and needs. I recently received a new style and asked multiple questions to ensure it would be what I was expecting. I was not listened to when I preferred the style to be completed on my wet natural hair as opposed to blow- dryed and then rodded. Complete waste of my money and time as the style did not last more than a day. I've had rod set in the past and have been able to maintain the style for a minimum of a week but typically always rodded on my natural hair and while wet. Also, I feel certain clients are treated differently or better customer service is provided to some over others based on some 'unknown' criteria. During my visits, I was required to adhere to strict policies, which I adhered to ( i.e., Late fee after 20 minutes, wash hands upon entrance, etc.). But based on observation, other clients were not requested to do similar tasks...hmmm."
