SSG TACTICAL

"I just had my first experience with SSG and upon entering I was amazed at the inventory. As I'm looking around at stuff. I was in the market to purchase a few firearms and i had some questions, but the energy was lackluster at best and it seemed as though i was a bother to them, which dissuaded me from my initial purchase(s) and I just bought 2 boxes of ammo and left. I'll probably never return. If they had better prices than their competitors, then it would be a consideration. But they don't so really there's no need for me to return. I have a ccw so the sale would have been a lay up, but I do shop based on energy and it was not vibing there. Not to mention I specifically stayed that I needed hollow points and when I pointed to a trusted brand and the clerk didn't even bother mentioning that I selected a box of fmj vs jhp."

"Came in today because I’m new to the area and a friend told me that these guys are super! All I can say is Chase is awesome! He helped me with all the accessories I needed and was very informative and even suggested ways for me to save money (how often do retail outlets do that)! Not only is Chase extremely knowledgeable but he took the time to provide the best customer service as well. I can’t say enough good things about SSG tactical and Chase In particular. "I came to the store with my husband, and Martin was quick to answer any questions we had. He gave his personal and professional take concerning scopes for my husband's rifle, before suggesting an alternative product without being pushy. When I mentioned that I was just starting to learn about guns, he was patient with helping me figure out which guns were more comfortable for me to hold, and answered my questions in a straightforward manner that was easy to follow."

"I hate to say it, but my last time in there will be my last time. It's clear to me they know everything about selling guns, and nothing about maintaining them. I went in there most recently to ask about solutions for dealing with plastic fouling inside a 12 gauge barrel. The response I got: "I've never had a problem with that." I'm just kind of done with these guys, they never have any of the products I'm looking for to maintain a gun, and they make you feel stupid every time you're in there."

"Horrible customer service and shady practices, avoid at all costs! Purchased a pistol from their online store on 22 Mar at 9:21PM. At 3:58pm the following day I received a call saying my gun was in. Obviously, this wasn’t shipped from anywhere and must have been on the shelf, strange but I headed down to pick it up. The background check took long and it was the end of the day so I had to go back the following day. During this whole process of filling out paperwork, I was never provided the gun and it was kept safely from reach, strange again but I figured they were waiting on the background check. The following day I returned to pick up the gun and finally got to take a look. It looked ok until I got out to my car and could see it in the sunlight and could tell it was damaged. I went straight back in and was told there was nothing they could do and that I would have to contact the manufacturer. They then tried to say it has nothing to do with them since online orders come from elsewhere however this gun clearly did not. Bottom line, the clerk said, “This is how the gun world works, get a hold of the manufacturer, there’s nothing we can do!” I tried to have them return it and they said it was too late even though all the paperwork was clearly right behind the counter. They clearly fed me the damaged gun and will profit from the nice new one once it arrives in the mail."
