"My partner and I recently had to put down our precious baby. She was very sick and was in lots of pain. The team at AVAH was very caring and supportive throughout the whole process. It’s a horrible process that no person wants to consider, but the team here was extremely respectful and answered all questions without judgement. Neither my partner or myself had ever had to do this before, so having that support system to lean on meant the world. We just received flowers from the office, and I knew I needed to say something as a thanks. Through life and in death you have been amazing."

"We cannot thank Dr. Keenen, Nick and the rest of the AVAH staff enough for everything they have done for us, as our dog Lillie struggled through the aging process with various issues including extremely painful arthritis and cancer at the very end. They were kind, caring and compassionate. They answered numerous emails and phone calls and worked with us as we tried out various treatments for her to try to ease her pain. And all along, keeping in mind the situation we were in and the costs associated with everything and we never felt like it was being recommended that we spend a ton of money on unnecessary tests which we have had at other local vets. All and all I could not say enough wonderful things about them. And Lillie would agree as she gave Dr. Keenen one last kiss on the nose before she said goodbye to us."

"AVAH has a fantastic doctor and staff. After years of going from vet to vet to get a proper diagnosis for 2 of my dogs I finally found an amazing doctor who properly diagnosed my babies. I have spent thousands of dollars and my pups would not improve. It was exhausting and heartbreaking. In Dr.Keenan I found someone who actually read my dogs' history and listened to my concerns. Within weeks I found one dog had thyroid hypertension and the other suffered from a severe allergy. She saved my dogs' life, my very cherished and loved family members. She is an absolute brilliant, kind and impathetic angel. I will never be able to repay her for saving my babies and seeing them healthy,happy and playfully like they should have always been. "The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Keenen takes good care of my cat. Appointment times are well set, so there aren't too many pets in the waiting area at one time, and there is minimal waiting. I especially like that she always gives me an estimate on cost for any procedure. And they offer a military/senior discount!"
