"Went in to get a used saddle I had seen a couple months ago. When I asked if they had any swappable gullets, the older short-haired lady behind the counter rolled her eyes asked what a gullet was and even after I told her had to call someone. That person told her where to look but it wasnt the right size for my horse. I asked if she would take $110 for the saddle (tag said $135). She just kept chatting with whomever she had called. When she got off the call that had turned to personal matters, she said no that the saddle had just gotten there, its condition, and the saddle make. I said that's weird, it was here months ago when I was (and had bought a saddle then too). She said oh well it's that make then. I said ok, it's too high for the condition for me and said have a good day. I was next to my car when I heard her scream at me, so I went back to the door and told her she didn't need to be rude and that the saddle was too damaged for the $135. She said it was $155. I said no, that's a 3 and even showed her how it was written and she just kept getting more belligerent and irate while I was speaking. Why have someone who doesn't know about saddles work at a tack shop, especially if they cant/won't be polite? It's a shame bc they're local to me but I will not shop there again."

"Humble lil historic building, but definitely worth a visit. Small as they are I’ve purchased tons of great horse gear from here, helmet, riding boots, lots of brushes and tack, hoof boots and lots more. They also sell many English/Western used/consignment items in addition to the new so there’s a lil of everything."

"My wife and I went into the shop interested in trying on some boots, not knowing what the shop had in stock or what my wife wanted to try on. After trying on a few boots, the person helping us got an attitude when my wife asked to try on a different style. The person seemed to be more interested in talking to the people who seemed to be visiting. I'll be happy to take my business eslewhere."
