"On October 6th I had an appointment to get a dip powder manicure and regular pedi at 10:30. I am always early and we arrived 15 minutes early to our appointment. They sat us down in the pedicure chair and proceeded to take the walk ins that came in after us, who were getting manicures, not pedicures. It dawned on me that maybe these technicians were "too good" to do pedicures. No problem. Finally it was our turn, 35 minutes later. The pedicure went smooth, no problems. And even the dip manicure went smooth, except for when the technician was putting the clear coat on before the powder goes on and it was super chunky so he had to find a new one. My mom, not pleased with the level of service due to our appointment time and the lack of their planning, made it a point to comment on it before she left. She wasn't yelling but let them know that it was not acceptable to take walk-ins that came in after customers with appointments. My technician, made a comment to me about my mother, after my mother walked out the door (I was getting my nail fixed that they messed up, which was no big deal). "Wow your mom is really a nice lady" as he chuckled and rolled his eyes and then started talking in their native language. Mind you my mother probably should have kept her mouth shut, as someone working in the customer service industry, his response was not okay. Okay, so fast track a week. I work in an office and sit at a computer desk all day, so my manual labor is to a minimum. The top coat has started to chip from the nails. And now mind you still only a week, the dip is chipping off my nails too. The technician seemed to be doing things correctly so the only thing I can blame this on is the product they are using. Dip is supposed to last longer than acrylic and gel manicures. This hasn't even lasted a week. I will not be going back to P&W, until they can get quality product for their customers and brush up on their customer service skills."
