"I usually have a great experience here, but today after calling Friday, and making an appointment with Queen for 12 pm the male tech (mind you he answered when I called!) tells me “I MUST HAVE SAID THE WRONG NAME” cause she doesn’t work Sundays. I ONLY go to Queen when coming here so how could I say the wrong name. He was COMPLETELY dismissive of his error after trying to make it my fault. His only resolution was to make another appointment when she is available. The owner must have had her baby, cause this guy is completely incapable of professionalism and managing the front desk!!! Now I have to allow someone else to do my nails, cause of his mistake and lack of concern for their mix up. I will be finding a new nail place after this, cause I don’t spend where my money isn’t appreciated. Mind you I moved from this area and make almost a 40 minute ride to come visit Queen."

"I have been going to Bella for over 3 years now and have nothing but exceptional things to say! Especially about Nail Tech Tim- he is fantastic in every way. He is every attentive to your needs and always listens to what I want when I go in for a DIP mani or gel pedicure."

"I decided to come to Bella for a relaxing pedicure boy was I wrong. The male tech that was assigned to me definitely needs training in customer service. I indicated to him what I wanted and was very specific. He rushed my pedicure for starters. I went to cosmetology school 39 years ago and definitely kept up to date on proper procedures for a pedicure. He skipped numerous steps and quickly went straight to gel polish. I told him, sir you are rushing my pedicure and you missed a lot of my cuticles. He was very argumentative and decided he was going to continue. I tried several times to explain again what I wanted, at this point I just wanted someone else to finish. He got loud, obnoxious and very threatening. I asked for a manager, and was told there was no manager on duty and he will have to finish my pedicure since I started with him. I said to myself if I ever get into a hostile situation, I will remain calm! I said I don’t want him to do it he’s rude and speaking to me very aggressive and threatening. He escalated even more since the employee I was speaking to did absolutely nothing. I’m at my breaking point and now I’m ready to match his energy. Before I could react, a man was there with his daughter sitting next to me and he had enough! He stood up and told the male nail tech you have one more time to disrespect this lady and we are going to have a problem! He told him to be quiet and don’t say another word! I was grateful that a someone stepped in and actually stood up for me!!!! It’s a shame none of the workers step in. They witnessed this and done nothing! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. This is the poor service I received! Wish I could negative -10 because that’s what they deserve"

"leaving one start is a bit much. I booked an appointment with my mom for manicure and pedicure. I am not satisfied with this place at. I been to better places that treat you much better and charge less. they say they give complimentary but never offer me a drink! They don’t take their time doing pedicure the right way but are quick to charge a whole lot for a simple and plain job. They add feeds for every single little thing without letting you know ahead of time, I did not appreciate that at all! Never going back again."

"Horrible service. Do not go to this nail salon. My nails were not done well and glue was left all over my hand from the Apres application. See picture below. I told manager and she said oh that’s nothing you can wash it off. The manager who sits at the front has a nasty attitude and treats black customers poorly compared to white customers. Overall she is the worst thing about this place. I saw Jay and he decided to give me something different than I asked for when I called him on it he said he would decrease the price of my service but when time to check out, the nasty manager got involved and would not allow him to make it right. This was the worse service I ever received and the way I was treated was not worth the $200 I paid for a full set and a pedicure. Did I mention they are continuing to raise their prices and go through nail techs like the days of the week because the manager is so rude and nasty. Do not waste your time and money here there are other nail salons that treat you better and cost less in Owings Mills."
