"Bay Country Veterinary Hospital is a great local vet with a wonderful, caring staff that truly love animals. In this world of impersonal service, it is nice to see a business that gets to know you and your family. From the front desk staff, to the technicians and to the doctors, they go above and beyond and take great care of pets."
"I love Bay Country! The staff is very friendly. They have taken good care of my pets for years. In fact, I just took a new kitty there this past week and had a great experience as usual."
"Today I had the worst vet visit. Not because of anything the doctors or techs did, but because it was my sweet pups end of life care appointment. The people at Bay Country are so kind and empathetic to their patients and to their fur parents. I'm glad that we ended up at Bay Country for Konans last vet appointment."
"Very disappointed. We scheduled an appointment for my senior dog to get the canine influenza vaccine (he is up to date on all other vaccines through Vetco's mobile service but the influenza vaccine has been backordered). We arrive with all documentation and are told that he can not be seen because he has not had an exam with Bay Country specifically in over a year. I totally understood that point and I said it was fine if he had an exam today so he could get the vaccine, but we were turned away because the were fully booked. I just wish they had informed us of the exam policy before we came all the way there and scheduled the appointment appropriately. Our dog has gone to Bay Country off and on for the last 16 years, we trade off each year or so with the Vetco mobile because they tend to be cheaper and we don't live in Annapolis anymore. I also take offence that the tech kept pushing that he needed to take a premed of Benadryl before vaccines. He had just got Rabies, Lyme, Bordetella, and distemper without any problems. In the end it was a waste of time and very frustrating. I understand the need for an exam before vaccine, but we should of been informed that was what was needed and the appropriate appointment should have been scheduled."
"I had to put my dog down, and the staff was extremely kind and understanding if my grief. I wasn't just another customer. They sent me a condolence card, sent me a plaster cast of his pawprint and even donated to have a tree planted in his honor. I was going to take my next puppy somewhere else because I had a coupon, but Bay Country has me for a client for life. I just wish I could give more than 5 stars."
