"I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The staff are so friendly and kind and my cat who is usually apprehensive is very comfortable here, especially with the vet techs. The staff make sure to explain all your options for care, including the pricing. I hate going to the vet and getting bamboozled into paying for things I didn't really want or need. Before coming to Caring Hands, I'd had a negative experience at another vet clinic in Rockville where I was quoted one price on the phone and half a dozen extra "fees" were tacked on later for a routine checkup. Caring Hands staff are very transparent about all the fees and I often pay less than the estimates they give me. Recently there was some miscommunication during a visit and a symptom I'd mentioned was overlooked, but they were kind enough to schedule a courtesy visit to follow up on the issue even though some time had passed. The receptionists also go above and beyond in trying to get my questions answered. I hope they keep up the quality service, I will continue bringing my pets here."

"I give Caring Hands and Dr. Gina Akande 5 stars and would give more if available. Dr. Akande treated my 12.5 year old lab with gentleness. She successfully treated a very large, infected growth that was eventually removed. Plus, because of his age, she guided my son and I through all the options, taking her time and never rushing us. The entire staff was very helpful and efficient. Highly recommend this practice. I have been to several vets over my 30+ plus years with my own animals and as a foster. This experience was the best I have had. So much expertise and compassion."

"Caring Hands has been our vet for many years. However, the last year my beautiful pit bull Joy bacame very ill. We were in and out of the office, daily email correspondences with Dr. Reynolds, the work they put in to help our dog, our family was utterly amazing. I have to say that Dr. Reynolds will always hold a special place in my heart. Same for the wonderful office staff and vet techs who treated us like family. We ended up losing our baby girl a few weeks ago. They helped up through the entire process made it as comfortable and safe as possible. She’s back home with us now. Thank you to all the wonderful people in that office. I am beyond grateful for people like you!!"

"Caring Hands just helped us through the day every pet owner dreads. We had to bring our dog in to put her to sleep, which was unimaginably difficult and sad. The entire procedure was done so peacefully and beautifully. The techs were so sweet with our dog when we got there, and the vet was gentle and reassuring. She created a scene of comfort and care that made the procedure feel very private and reverent. We even received a paw print from our girl made in clay, which has brought us a lot of comfort. I will always remember the kindness we and our dog experienced at Caring Hands."

"I love this clinic! The Vets are great and I know I can tailor the care for my pets to meet their needs and my goals. The Vet Techs are also fantastic they remember all my pets when I visit. I also love the online pharmacy, and their website and new app really make it easy to make an appointment. One fun and practical thing is that when one is late on say vaccinations, the clinic will email reminders but my favorite is receiving a picture (taken in clinic) postcard of my fur baby as a reminder. These cute cards don my fridge!!"
