Spread Bagelry

"I really really want this place to do well. The first time I walked in, it was around lunch time. No other customer around despite the promenade being packed. I wanted to check out pricing but things seem to be expensive. $2.25 for a bagel or $4.50 for a bagel with cream cheese. I got 2 bagels and they were ok. Nothing to write home about. I figure they may have sat around since morning. So I went back another day in the morning. Got one bagel with cream cheese and one without, toasted, for $7.00+. Again, no other customer in sight although the Starbucks line was completely full. I was excited to try them fresh, but no, they tasted stale and like a bagel that I could have heated up at home. We have had bagels from Spread in Philly, which tasted much better. The whole thing is that the bagel is toasted in a wood burning oven so it has a nice toasty taste to it. Bummers."

"Love the breakfast sandwiches, though I’d agree with the other reviewer about them falling apart. Because they are STUFFED! The Carnegie is my regular and it never fails to satisfy. I’ve also had the Rueben which was equally delicious. Considering the size of the sandwich and the quality of fixings I’d say they are well worth the price."

"Just came in to grab a quick lunch with my daughter while picking up our dogs down the street and I’m so happy I did. The cashier helped me with some of his favorite sandwiches and the chef also gave me his 2 cents. Both were very helpful and sweet. I ended up getting the club sandwich on a rosemary bagel and it may have been the best sandwich I’ve ever had. So happy I decided to stop in and order. I will definitely be back! Thank you!"

"We stopped by Spread Bagelry for breakfast. My sandwich was amazing. Definitely coming back. For the spreads we got veggie and jalapeño pepper cream cheese they were okay. We also got a bunch of extra bagels and they’re so good. Love the atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Love the location."

"The bagels are great, but not sure what is wrong with the ability to make the your order. While I was waiting for my order someone before me brought their order back and stated it was wrong and one sandwich was not even what they ordered. Should have known then. Got back to my office and opened my breakfast sandwich and it was just egg and cheese. If I know that was going to be the case I would have just bought the bagel and toasted it myself. So disappointing!"
