"please take note of the cross section of the sandwich. the red is the denoted protein content which is sorely deficient. at least there is a healthy amount of green but i did not order a salad. tsk tsk. disappointed to say the least"
"Simple or over the top sandwiches, they have it here. I tried their phat lady and it was delicious! If you are paying with card, they have kiosk for you to order from. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. It’s for takeout only but there are benches outside where you can enjoy your hoagie. It’s on a busy road with very limited metered parking."
"When I'm in the mood for a guilty pleasure, this is my go-to spot. While it doesn't offer seating, the order and pick-up process is swift, usually taking around 10 minutes. The sandwiches are delectable, and the service is efficient. Given that it's mainly a takeout place, you'll likely grab your delicious sandwich and be on your way in no time. It's clean and pleasant... go and try it!"
"Hoagie Haven is a Princeton institution, and for good reason. Their cheesesteaks are simply the best in the world. The flavor is perfection, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is fast. I've been coming here for over 20 years, and the quality has never changed. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, this is the place to go."
"I used to frequent Hoagie Haven back in the days. I hoped in today to be surprised by several changes this business has gone through. First, no more Italian People Bakery rolls? My order consisted of a whole Sanchez, the roll was a bit of disappointment. Doesn’t seem to be same quality as before. Second, very little sauce. They used to be generous with their Sanchez sauce. Third, they have now installed a self service point of sale that charges you about 50 cents per transaction. Fourth, hours have changed, no more late night hours, they close as early as 9:30 even though posted hours say 10 pm. I understand they are trying to streamline the store and that some of this changes won’t go away. I asked the person behind the counter if there were new owners to which they answer “no, it’s the same owner” To old schoolers , Hoagie Haven will never be the cool after hours haven it used to be, to newcomers it’s just another overpriced soulless wawa-like hoagie place."
