"We loved celebrating our anniversary at this upscale vegan restaurant! We visited in august but I just came across two photos of our appetizers (forgot to take more) and had to come leave some love for the delicious and creative meal we enjoyed!"
"First time ever doing a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, very nice, food was very flavorful, the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is very good. I do recommend it"
"This is the best vegan food I’ve ever eaten. Whenever I eat vegan food anywhere else, it’s usually somewhat of a let down after eating here, my standards are much higher. This wasn’t my first visit. One of my favorite things is the forbidden burrito. Their scrambled tofu is unbelievable. It wasn’t on the menu, which was kind of a good thing because it forced me to try something else. I had the garlic bread. It doesn’t look too exciting but it was really good and buttery. I preferred it over the zucchini, black-eye pea griddle cakes with chipotle and roasted corn remoulade. I think because the garlic toast had a crunch and the griddle cakes were soft. Just my personal preference, they were still good. I also had the miso, maple mustard, glazed, seitan wings with peppercorn ranch. These were so good if I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought it was a type of meat. I’m even posting a picture of what they look like when you cut into them. They don’t have the presentation like some of the other dishes, but very good. As usual, the staff was awesome. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and seated us. No waiting. One of the servers, who wasn’t ours, overheard us discussing what to order, and she gave us her opinion and descriptions of the food. Our server was very attentive and even recognized me from eating there before. And it has been quite a while since I have been there. If you’re on the fence about trying vegan food, definitely come here, they won’t disappoint."
"First and foremost, this restaurant is 100% Vegan, so go here knowing that, and don't embarrass yourself walking in, sitting down, looking at the menu, and walking out. This will be one of my longer reviews so stick with me on this. If you notice my reviews, my wife and I enjoy trying new places and new food. My wife is vegan I am working towards vegan but I am a pescatarian (only eat fish), We decided to take a trip (about 2.5 hours) to New Hope and visit this restaurant. Our reservation was at 5:00, and we were seated immediately and greeted promptly by our server. Throughout our visit, she was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and helpful. Now to the food...OMG, the food! (I've attached the menu). Also, my wife and I actually had stopped about 2.5 hours earlier and had a snack so I didn't feel overly hungry Drink - I got the Watermelon Aqua Fresca. It wasn't some watermelon juice thrown in a glass with some water and sugar. This was a refreshing straight watermelon juice with a touch of Agave for sweetness..refreshing, cold, and perfect. (If you like watermelon). Next - We got the following small plates: - Brown Sugar Seitan BBQ Wings - the sauce on these was sweet, tangy, sticky, and one of the best I have ever had. In my ugh-meat-eating days, I was a wing fanatic. These vegan wings blew most of them away. They were crispy and reminded me of the best boneless wings ever! - Asparagus A LA Plancha - Literally I picked one up to take a bite and stopped right before I put it in my mouth. The aroma was incredible. You could literally smell the roast on it. And then I tasted it with the sauce. I couldn't stop eating them. Again some of the best Asparagus I ever had (and I've had some amazing Asparagus, see my review on Oak). - Green Onion Pancake Roll - I really enjoyed these. The filling was great and they were a great small plate. Remember, we had eaten only a few hours earlier, but after these small plates we decided to try the Risotto Verde. My first bite, again, I literally stopped and just looked at my wife, speechless. (yet again, I have some amazing Risotto). The flavors in this Risotto came through so clearly in every bite. I'm not a radish fan but I loved the seared radish. I honestly couldn't believe how good it was. We ate it all. (Almost picked the bowl up and licked it). Dessert: My wife got the trio of ice cream. Cantaloupe Mint, Vanilla Bean, Peppermint Cacao. I'm going to be honest, I was not a fan of the Cantaloupe Mint but my wife loved it. It was refreshing but just not for me (although I do love Cantaloupe). The Vanilla Bean was amazing, I could definitely tell it was made with Coconut milk but it had a fantastic creamy vanilla flavor. And, unfortunately, my least favorite flavor of anything is Mint Chocolate...so I wasn't a fan of the Peppermint Cacao, but honestly, it wasn't that bad. But if you like mint chocolate, you will love it. Now for me!! I ordered the Chocolate Blackout Cake. Let me be 100% clear on this...it was life-changing! I am a chocolate lover. When I say that I don't mean I go to Hershey and buy some chocolate. I know my chocolate! This quite literally brought tears to my eyes (literally). I don't know why or how. I have never eaten cake like this. The chocolate mouse was creamy but with somewhat of a darker intense chocolate flavor, and the cake, although it looked very dark it was moist and somewhat delicate but somehow dense at the same time. And, on top of that, they added coconut anglaise which when eaten with the cake and mouse took this beyond any dessert I have ever eaten. This is absolutely a must if you like chocolate, or even if you don't, you MUST try it!!! So, thank you to the chef, and the staff at Sprig & Vine for one of the most amazing food experiences I have ever had!"
"We went here for dinner with our family and had a blast!! The food was beyond our expectations in terms of flavor and creativity. We were thrilled to have so many delicious vegan options! The servers were so kind and helped us pick fan favorites. They even brought water for our dog who joined us for the meal!! Highly recommend trying either of the seitan wings with their incredible house made ranch, smashed potatoes and the jerk tofu. I also would recommend getting the tiramisu- so so good!!"
