"That was a $3 convenient store microwavable burrito marked up to $16. Food was gross. Do Not Eat Here. P.s. I wouldn't contact the manager. You had your chance to provide a good meal. Now that u know how I feel I would suggest upgrading your food to a better products. Minced chicken is not good or fresh. It was hard and dry."
"I ordered the 6 fried tacos, wanted beef and was told no beef only chicken! The chicken was barely in there and it was very dry! No chips or salsa, no sides, nothing! Did have any pork crackle! And for my family’s orders there was barely any meat in their burritos, but rice and lots of cheese! I can go on and on about how we were dissatisfied with our $50 order! We have tried the one in Chester and now this and are not pleased! We were hoping for a better experience for a second time with this 5 brothers but we were mistakenly wrong!"
"Ordered a quesadilla that the menu says is served with red salsa and sour cream. I asked for no sour cream. I pickup my order and the girl there was nice and provided fast service. I get home and open my food to find out that the quesadillas are smothered with some type of sauce, lettuce and tomato’s which was not listed on the menu. After wiping off the toppings the quesadilla was good and for the price it was a pretty good portion size and was filling. However I did not receive the red salsa which was upsetting. I also ordered chips and guac which was pretty good."
"Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Price $$ Being a frequent visitor with places like Macho Nacho, Chicos, and Don Jose, these guys are up there but not all the way. The red sauce was excellent; spicy just the way my wife and I like it. They're new, so it was kind of shocking to see an empty restaurant on a Saturday night. But nonetheless, service was excellent and food wasn't bad. Al pastor tacos and Chicken Floutas"
"I think its a bit unfair to make a blanket statement about a restaurants quality based on our first visit but I will relate my experience. My wife and I asked the waitress "Is the red sauce spicy on the Enchiladas Rojas?". We were assured that it wasn't... "although the Verdes sauce was a little" she stated. With that being said, my wife got Rojas and I got the Verdes, sat back and waited for our meal. Mind you we stopped two other couples at different place along the sidewalk leading up to the restaurant and asked "How was it?" Both sets of customers said it was good. When we entered I noticed that the place was, at best, sparsely decorated except for the two large televisions playing Mexican music videos. There is mostly booth seating with very few tables making it more IHOP looking than a Mexican eatery. I like to enjoy the decor as much as the food. We love Juanito's in Washington and Don Joses in Netcong for their decorations as much as their food. It puts you in the mood even before you sit down. So, low marks here for curb appeal. I was also disappointed that the obligatory chips with salsa wasn't offered as an opener. These aren't expensive items to offer at no charge and considering the rather steeple priced menu, it shouldn't be to much to ask. Our waitress brought two bowls barely filled with a sauce, one red and one green. We were told it was to put on our Enchiladas.....ok. our food followed soon after. It was presented nicely enough as you can see for our pics. As we dug in and the first bite hit our mouth we lit up from what I can only describe as much more spicy than we were lead to believe it would be. Yes, I get it, it's Mexican food.....but when we ask this question in other restaurants we generally get what is described. Not so here. We would later me told that due to the chef being from an specific area of Mexico, this was the reason it was spicy......ummm, no. When asked if the sauce is spicy the correct response is yes. We might have ordered something different and had a completely different experience. I was able to weather the heatwave and did end up enjoying, for the most part, my meal which I finished in its entirety. My poor wife on the other hand was not so lucky and didn't eat her meal except for the beans and rice. For the record, my wife is Puerto Rican so she is no stranger to spice. We had really hoped that we found a super local Mexican food place so we didn't have to drive all the way to Washington but seems like we will be road tripping when the urge for Mexican hits. So overall a five out of ten in my book. Decor and feel of the establishment a one out of ten. Food was good but misrepresented so it deserves a revisit. For the record, our server came out an offered to make my wife something else and took her meal off the bill. We did end up take her up on her offer and took home something else. This is probably the only reason we will give it another go.... PS, the men's bathroom was horrible. For a newly opened place more effort should have been focused here. It was dirty, poorly painted and the equipment looked worn and on the verge of breaking. Super low marks here also."
