"This is a review for the Mt.Olive/Hackettstown IHOP. This place is tricky. Every time I have gone, I have gotten a table quickly, gotten my order taken quickly, drinks come out at a reasonable...but the food order.... It can take 45 min-1 hr. This is pancakes people. I just don't think they have enough people working as cooks. And I have gone 3 times in the past year...generally during breakfast/brunch time (10 AM -1 PM) The food comes out nicely done for the most part, but I can't justify such a long wait. I will probably not come come back to this IHOP, and if I am in the area...go to a diner."

"Went for breakfast on a weekday morning just as they opened. Food and service was very good. The issue was the restaurant was freezing. They turned the heat off and it was 50 degrees and only got to 55 degrees by 8:45 AM. Just too cold to enjoy an early meal."

"The food overall, was good. The hash browns could have been crispier. Their Country Fried Steak was always served on the side of hash browns, never on top of them hence, the steamed hash browns. They also use smaller plates. Their pancakes are much smaller, too. They do not have the flavored syrups (strawberry, blueberry and pecan) on the tables anymore. You have to request them. Maple is still on the table. The host and server were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu."

"The service was great. The food was good. What was weird was that it was 5 pm and only three other tables had customers. I'm not complaining because there were no loud conversations or babies crying. Like I said, the food was good. We had breakfast Sample Platter at 5 pm. We were in and out in under an hour. Would recommend."

"I normally have better visits than the one I’ve had today. I definitely stopped coming as much as I used too because of the quality of food/taste declining. I love eggs benedict, and I have had it here before and it was good. However, this time all my food was luke warm, poached eggs weren’t runny as they should be, and it took 45 minutes to be made. If it took that long I would have expected it to be hot. My sibling got over medium eggs and they came out wrong as well. Our server was fine, she seemed a bit overwhelmed. They could have used another server on. It was a lot of waiting in general. Took us two hours by the time we got there and finally paid. Overall, a bit disappointed this visit. Also, for a glass of OJ it’s $4.79. I could buy a whole carton! I won’t be getting juice out anymore, that’s expensive."
