"Stopped in Saturday night for the first time. Take-out only which was fine. I had the garlic crushed haddock and my wife had meatball parm with penne. Food looked good when we unpack it, but OMG, it was delicious. The quality was far superior to what I was expecting from a place called the Country Store. A makeover of their dining room and they could be considered fine dining in Sullivan County. The food equalled anything I have had at the New Eldred Preserve which is about 6 times the price."

"The place to meet everyone in town, and talk about life over a hot cup of coffee. Sit at the bar if you're feeling stand-offish. Better yet, pull up a chair at one of the two long tables and join in the conversation. All you need is a smile. Sometimes, just for fun, locals will pay for a senior's breakfast, then leave before they realize it. Good cook, friendly local staff. Very reasonable prices, eggs the way you like'em, good Boar's Head meats. Conrad also cooks dinner at Lackawaxen House, so stop by there (across the Roebling Bridge) later. At the Yulan four corners."

"Best grilled cheese sandwiches in the universe. The staff is extremely nice. The food is really good and its not expensive. Nice down home country atmosphere. Highly recommend eating here."
