Plumsteadville Inn

"I can't tell you about the rooms, I didn't stay, but rather had a late lunch here. I was not greeted by anyone when I entered, had to ask for a table, I asked to be seated at a booth in the bar. Service was excellent by Jenn. Thank you! Had the seared scallops over saffron risotto, very delicious! My water glass was kept full, which was very nice, since it was all I was drinking. Dessert was delicious! The bar is nice for casual dining, big bar, booths and a huge room with a nice fireplace. But there were tvs EVERYWHERE in the bar area. Hey I get it, it's a bar, next time I'll sit in the dining room, which looked lovely. The building needs some maintenance which is a simple fix. Went to wash my hands, the faucet in the ladies room literally fell over. Bar area could use a deep cleaning, please clean your booths, just yuck. The restaurant also needs new menus, they were super grubby, I didn't want to touch them. It makes me think about what goes on in the kitchen.... Very nice winter planter boxes outside and I loved the flowering cabbage plantings!"

"Beautiful, charming place. The food is ok, (4*) not exactly perfect. Location is convenient. I went there 5+ times and finally I feel like I can have my opinion. They hire some high school kids to help with sitting and cleaning. I love that idea. These kids are willing to work happily, they’re nice and hardworking. Food served? I don’t know how to say it, when you’re very hungry you’ll eat it but the choices and the way it’s served and described can still be improved. If not 4 I could give it a strong 3. I guess I’ll be coming back because of many friends living in the area, there’s a room for improvement"

"Was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Lived around here all my life and never visited. Would definitely go back. Food was good and price was mid range. Service was pleasant. Place is a mix of a large bar with TV's and plenty of seating with some separate private rooms."

"The food was EXCELLENT. We ordered lettuce wraps and chicken croquettes. Everything had great flavor and the portions were huge. The atmosphere is also very nice. It was decorated for Christmas and everything was beautiful~"

"We took 10 people to brunch this last weekend. Spectacular assortment of food! Efficient display and mobility! (even for handicapped) Delightful, friendly, and very helpful waitstaff. All in all, a wonderful culinary experience! I was very proud to bring our guests to your beautiful restaurant. Even Santa was awesome!"
