"Tried this place on a whim. It's definitely a young peoples establishment. Music was too loud to communicate with the barber. My issue was how absolutely filthy it was there. I ended up covered in hair that wasn't my own. Haircut was too expensive for the service plus it wasn't what I asked for. The guy also left razor cuts on my sideburns and neck. 50$ waste. I pay 20$ at Old Town barber for a better fade and a pristine sanitary environment."

"Pretty sure the guy was new so no shade to him. Wish him the best of luck. With that said I gave free rein to style my relatively long hair. I was way overdo for a haircut but didn’t want my hair too short. Man took over an hour on the sides and they back going over it multiple times. I was very eager to see how it would turn out but horrified to find it was just a skin fade with no transition to a partially cut middle and had not touched the top at all. I had a partial dye job left from my last styling elsewhere left and that was in touched when it should have been cut off. I asked to have that fixed and to his credit he mostly did. I took a chance on here because with the high price tag I was assuming a decent to high skill level and seeing someone I thought was kind of new(assumption) I wanted to give a shot to thrive creatively but was left with a $40 loss and a lost day at work. Would I give this place another shot? Most likely not. I’m sure the service I received today is not a accurate reflection of the average quality but that doesn’t change the fact I came in with, while unkempt, presentable hair and walked out looking like a dollar tree clearance Kim Jung Un. No hard feelings to the stylist but very unsatisfied with the overall outcome. Feels akin to going to a restaurant and ordering tacos and the waiter brings out a flattened piece of white bread with three beans, a cherry tomato, and a burnt and simultaneously uncooked pork chop with the just the fat oh so carefully rolled into a wheel as if to be the garnish. Honestly would have preferred if he told me he messed up and asked if I wanted a buzz instead of passing it off as a job well done. Mostly upset that the bad haircut took an hour and a half, cost me $46(6 being tip I don’t actually think he deserved in reflection of the service provided) and somehow being so bad that I almost left work. *just saw the back of my hair and it’s unfathomably worse than the rest of the hair cut and not even* Bewildered to the core that I’ve had this surreal experience. I won’t stop anyone from going there on basis that maybe it was a one off bad experience but can not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone personally. I’ve never been so conflicted with emotions of livid and baffled. Part of me is still expecting someone to tell me it was a prank and give me some AirPods or being reached out to by management saying that the store was broken into and some random guy that doesn’t work there just picked up tools and proceeded to violate my hair because they though “I mean it’s just scissors and a small lawn mower right?”"
