"I have has good experiences with the hair stylists at Pompadour, but I've only had my hair done by Lisa and more recently by Vicky. Vicky is a magician with my hair! She has an eye for finding the style and length I want and you can not beat the price! Great service and a kind personality too. Thank you Vicky for taking me even when I was running so late! My husband loves my haircut and so do I."

"I have really thick and curly hair, and this has been my go to salon for a haircut for the last six years. I started off going to see Margo(who did great but our schedules never aligned) and then Fernando. After Fernando left I switched to seeing Eduarda who was able to get the job done. A few weeks ago I needed a haircut and I had happened to get off from work early. I called the salon and the receptionist(Vicky?) was nice and said they could see me but when I asked what stylist I would be seeing she said we’d figure it out once I came in. This should’ve honestly been a sign for me, but I’d seen the stylists’ work on the website and thought it would be okay. I was wrong. I was running late and had called ahead to let the salon know, but they said this wasn’t an issue. When I arrived I was greeted by the bubbly receptionist and a women next to her with a very annoyed expression on her face. I smiled at her and she got up to walk away, I turned to look at the receptionist who told me to follow the women because she would be my stylist. I don’t remember her name, but she’s not listed on the website. I sat in the chair and after telling her I wanted a wash and cut she begins to comb my dry hair beginning from the top. I’ve never had anyone try and comb my hair dry especially not from the top, the comb wasn’t going anywhere it was just getting stuck and creating knots, not to mention it hurt. I reiterated that I wanted a wash and so she washed my hair. I don’t think she had any experience with thick hair because she was pretty aggressive with the wash, my scalp was sore after. After wrapping my hair in a towel I expected her to either give me my hair to hold or maybe she would hold it from behind me, but instead she held onto my wrapped hair and led me back to the chair like a horse(as in she was pulling). Mind you I couldn’t see very well, I wear glasses(which she saw) and obviously needed to take them off for this experience. She started cutting my hair and asked if the bottom length was okay(I wanted layers), I said yes I wanted shoulder length and she cut away. I realized she’d been cutting for a while and I started to get nervous. Again I can’t see well. While this is going on there’s yelling going on behind us between the receptionist and another stylist. She tells me she’s done and I go to grab my glasses and realize she’s given me bangs. I’m polite to a fault so I pay and go back to my car where I cry. Layers do not equate to bangs. It’s been three weeks and my hair still makes me so sad. This women obviously didn’t know what she was doing, I regret going in. She gave me two layers maybe and then gave me bangs. The top layer doesn’t transition into the bottom one, it’s honestly giving mullet. The top layer is so awkward and abrupt because of its placement, it looks much fuller because its at the largest part of my head and then the bottom layer looses that volume. Sure it looks fine wet, but she didn’t know what she was doing because it looks terrible dry. Like many curly haired women I struggled with loving my hair for years, so this experience just makes me really sad. I’m never coming back."

"Yesterday was probably my worst experience of hair styling. She did not know how to curl and style my hair, I have seen her doing nails not sure if she have done hair at all. She did not dry it well and kept burning my hair then when I told her she need to do it properly, she said she can wash my hair and I can go after 2 hrs sitting there. She assumed I wanted my hair done for free. she kept on pulling my hair and when I told her she said “whatever” she was unprofessional, unskilled with worst attitude. Then finally she said I don’t have to pay, I insisted on paying and I paid the full price, I want that idiot to know it is not about free service. I felt very discriminated. I’m calling the owner to complain"

"My daughter and I came in as walk-ins tonight. Ana & Vicky were both so warm and welcoming. Even after the salon closed they didn’t rush through our services. The finished product is gorgeous and the prices reasonable."

I always look forward to my appointment because I know my hair will look its best when Lisa colors and styles it. A hair salon that cares about it's clientele and a stylist you can trust are very hard to find.
