"Good food is ok. Syrup had a very strange aftertaste and none of the kids liked it and ended up not eating their pancakes because of it. The staff is nice and friendly. 15% added for takeout which they don't tell you about until you come to pick up the order. All that would have been fine if they got the food out in time. Ordered over the phone and they said it would take 20 min to get the order ready. I was about 20 min away so hopped into the car and rushed over. Ended up sitting with my friend at the counter for over an hour AFTER I arrived waiting for the food. The staff was nice and polite but maybe offer a cup of coffee for the inconvenience or something? Took me an hour and 35 min from the time I ordered to leave there with my food. Had 4 hungry kids at home and we were pressed for time as is. Pretty disappointed in that and the fact that nobody seemed to care."

"The food was good. Pretty safe. The home fries were bland, the big meat omelet was good. The thick French toast seemed to be grilled bread not battered, just grilled. The pancakes were good. If you just want something pleasant and safe, order hot sauce and shake the salt and pepper. The syrup tastes candied. It is very different from anything I've tried. You'll be fine here. Nothing spectacular but sometimes simple is all you need."

"Went on a Tuesday morning, great atmosphere but not too busy; a party of two was seated immediately. Food came out within 10 minutes. French toast was incredible! Prices were great as well. Will definitely be coming back."
