"I am providing Pizza One with an honest review because while the majority of times I found at Pizza One were pleasant, they were not high quality enough for me to overlook the nightmare I experienced. I ate at Pizza One in the summer months of 2021, with a friend. I can't remember if the clerk was male or female at that time. We were given enough attention and received our slices, and there was adequate professionalism. I visited again in 2022, I was by myself, and the clerk was very careful. I had the undivided attention of the clerk, and I was given a good portion of an amount of food; it was an appropriate value. During this visit, I had a female clerk. I visited again in 2023, and the experience was the polar opposite. I ordered eggplant Parmesan without cheese, and I had a cashier who was a man. I ordered and he was asking me if I wanted angel hair or linguini, and another question. He never asked me if I wanted to take my food to go or not, and after I paid I went to sit down because I received a phone call. The cashier then put the food which was two separate containers of the eggplant and pasta, in a paper bag and small metal containers. The cashier didn't bother to put the heavy bag in a plastic bag over the paper bag, or even ask me if I wanted it to go! I had to leave so I didn't ask him to put it in a plate and I would sit down, and it was not my responsibility. It was obvious that there was more food than the container could hold. I get out of my car, and the bag breaks and spills tomato sauce all over my pants! I was forced to be put in public with tomato sauce all over my clothes and mask, all because of the carelessness of the clerk. It all would never have happened had he asked me one question, and took more precaution. I have a generous tip, and end up being given very careless service. I was humiliated. It was beyond inconvenient, I had to clean up my car seat. I was lucky that a person at another business was kind enough to give me a disposable face mask because I had a disposable one on that day (not a business located in the pizzeria's plaza). It seems that there is potential for the pizzeria to progress into a business in better practice, because they are fair in prices but certain practices need revision."
"Was craving something small so I picked up a slice, pepperoni sausage extra cheese. Good price, strong crispy undercarriage, wasn't all soggy and falling all over the place after a few minutes ride back to the house. The meats and cheese were great but the sauce really stood out to me. Very nice. I give a soild 9.2 - will be back one day to get a pie"
"Pizza 1 has become our favorite place after trying several in the area. Pizza is great with a nice crust, fresh ingredients, and the owner is friendly. This is also a great place if you have dietary restrictions as they are the only ones we’ve tried that will put alfredo sauce or whatever you want on a pizza."
"I agree with all the comments about the new owners. I used to go here all the time. I went with the new owners and they ignored me for a solid 5 mins while feet away. I mean literally sat texting on the phone, saw me, and didn’t acknowledge. Then finally were extremely rude. The girl (and she was a teenager) grabbed my pizza like I’ve never seen a human being do so before. She grabbed the box sideways upside. It was astonishing. I said to her you just ruined the pizza and the guy who I presume was her father scolded me to leave her alone she was doing great. I tried it once after that. Same thing. The new owners couldn’t be any more rude if they tried. I don’t care if the food is good, which based on my limited experience was not like it used to be"
"AWESOME Philly cheese steak ribeye beef! The owner really truly cares about the quality of your food. However pizza needs more sauce wasn't enough."
