"We actually went to lunch on a Thursday afternoon and had Wagyu sliders and fish and chips. Although when the fish came out I was a little unsure I could smell fish but tasting it absolutely no fishy taste at all. It was the best deep frying job it was golden was not oily. It was crispy. It was absolutely delicious. I don’t know what else they put in their french fries besides garlic, but it was amazing delicious And we had a couple of espresso martinis, and my partners had a Chardonnay, the view of the Delaware river in range because of all the snow melting rain we’ve had was incredible. It is a monster respect nature I would come back here in a heartbeat."

"This is a super cool place to go near by the river. Great ambience and food. The staff is friendly. Rating 4 starts in overall only because of the fact that there’s a wifi spot available for guests at Narrows and the management doesn’t allow the clients to hook on it, even if there’s a work emergency that needed to be addressed."

"While we thought this would be a cozy and wonderful experience……. Things could have been better. The tables for two are so small they are like pub tables. This place seems rushed and the food was marginal. The Brussels sprouts were the only good item. The steak was chewy and tough."

"Recently I decided to try a new restaurant I’ve seen in my travels but it wasn’t open during those times. However today a friend of mine and I felt the weather was perfect for discovering a new place. As I normally do I read reviews and looked at photos to acquaint myself with the venue, and compare it to my own experiences after dining there. As beautiful as the Delaware River Valley is there are always new places to try and hopefully add to your list of those you’d visit again. Lately I tried two places that I found disappointing by my standards, luckily this wasn’t one of them. In fact I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Nestled into a hillside The Narrows faces the River so it’s a bit scenic. It’s also right on River Rd so the limited outside dining can get noisy. Inside it has a bit of an urban industrial vibe pleasantly mixed with a few cozy country touches. They could use some good music and some greenery would help. The lunch menu isn’t vast, but there are choices for most tastes. I tried the Burger and my friend had the Chicken sandwich.. mine with herbed Fries (I found a bit salty), and his with their own version of potato chips which were nice n crunchy. Both dishes were satisfying and flavorful with ample portions. The food and the service was a bit slow, but it was a Holiday busy weekend. We both felt we would come back and try more of their offerings n perhaps a dinner. I do hope they’ll offer some more sweets in the future to add to the meal. So fire up the Vette or the Bike and bring your date ,or family, to check it out for yourself. Once you’re full you can walk it all off along the river and canal.. I’d say try it!"
