Ruby Tuesday

"Going to Ruby Tuesday is one of my favorite places to eat. The reason this is because of the Salad bar. I go out once every two months and this was beyond a horrible experience. I waited at the table a half hour before I got my drink and I went up to the bar to see if I could have water. I waited 45 minutes to get a steak that was overcooked and dry, I asked for mashed potatoes I got a dry baked potato nothing on it and over cooked like it was sitting out . The waiter did not seem that he cared about my experience, so I went to the manager. She did take the food off as a comp at this time. My husband’s fish was cold because he didn’t even get his tartar sauce, he asked for 3 times. I was told that the waiter was new but when the waiter came back, I said oh it’s not your fault you’re new. he stated oh, I’m not New. It was not busy and I almost felt like I was being discriminated. The reason I say this is because everyone at the restaurant even people that came after me, did not have these issues. I will never go to this Ruby Tuesday again… everything from the service to the food was below anyone’s expectation. I would’ve been happier going to eating at a hot dog stand."

"To be honest, I went there because I knew they are one of very few places left that have a great salad bar. I feel like Covid killed the salad bar idea. When we walked in, nobody greeted us until I asked somebody at the bar if there was a host or if it was seat yourself. When someone finally came over, they asked if we wanted a booth or a table, and when I answered Booth they said I don't know if there are any available. They set us at a table, but there were plenty of open booths. My guess is they were just not wanting to dirty tables in certain sections if they didn't have to. We waited forever to give our drink order, and we never really had a set wait person, different people just kept coming to take orders and ask us if we've been helped yet etc. Then, to top it all off, I had to wait 20 minutes for them to bring new clean plates out to the salad bar. I had ordered the sirloin and shrimp, and I ordered my sirloin medium rare. It came out like shoe leather. It was totally overcooked and was between medium well and well. They took it back and made me a new one that was delicious, but they never took it off the bill. I don't know if they are understaffed or what is going on, but they seem very stretched and unorganized. Sad, because the salad bar and the homemade croutons and the ribs my son had were delicious. Hopefully they can get their act together and provide better customer service."

"A truely bizarre experience. There are so few guests, it seemed like the staff did not have any protocol for actual table service. It felt like our server was filling in for a friend or something. Burger was actually really good. Other food was mediocre and different from the menu. I recommend it for a vaguely surreal experience."

"The 8 oz steak got smaller we feel. Sad. The salad bar hardly had any lettuce. Hoping for improvements as we used to really love this place."

"So I was a little hesitant to eat here, and that was just from the reviews I was reading. I did go as it was right next to my hotel. This resturant went way beyond my needs. I was seated quickly and by a nice gentleman. My waitress was training a new-hire and both were so very pleasant and funny. My soda was kept full and my table was kept neat. I had the salad bar with a very good salad and a bacon cheesburger. Both were excellent. I saw another waiter speaking with his guest and they were all laughing and having a good time. Overall I had a great experience and I am very excited to go back. Thank you to the staff at this restuarant for a great time and meal."
