"We’ve been getting food from here at least once a week for years. We’ve never really had any issues, if anything the food has always been consistent and reasonably priced. A few months ago my mom ordered shrimp Chow Mein. When we got home she opened the food container and realized there weren’t any shrimps in the dish. She called the restaurant back, and they told her next time they’d fix it for her. She was happy and satisfied with that answer. A week or so later we went back and they honored the shrimp Chow Mein issue. Well today, I ordered shrimp and broccoli (something I order once a week) and the shrimp were obviously bad. It happens!! I get it. I’ve worked food service for many years. So we called the restaurant back and got their answering service. They were kind and understanding and asked us to bring the food back. We brought the food back to the restaurant and the cook (presumably the co owner) was very understanding. He let my mom try the shrimp and it was decided that it was a better batch. He was very apologetic and gave my mom a new order. The female owner got extremely rude and nasty. She said “I don’t know why you always have an issue with the shrimp” (meanwhile we get food from them weekly and never complain) and asked what my moms problem was. We are local customers that are happy to give the local restaurant the business. We don’t want them to owe us anything, just decent customer service. That is not the way to do business. They just lost long-standing customers tonight. I guess we’ll be getting our Chinese food elsewhere. What a real shame."
