"Happy with the haircut and beard trim, took about 40 minutes. Charged me $80... Even though it's the 23rd of December, this was way too much for the work done. I would have appreciated being told if there was any extra charge"

"DC is very expensive..I get it! I needed my beard shaped up and had previously seen reviews for Cuts by Hugo. I have a beard that requires very little maintenance and was not expecting to be charged $50 for the minimum amount of work done. I have no issue paying for services rendered, but the amount charged was 3X what I pay my barber. Lesson learned, no hard feelings but definitely won't return."

"I almost didn’t want to leave a review to keep this place a secret but it deserves 5 stars and more! Hugo is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. I moved across from the UK and am really picky with my barbers, not having the best hairline. After reading reviews on pretty much every shop in the DMV area, I decided to try out this place. Hugo is an absolute magician and has consistently given me the best cut. Cannot recommend him enough and look forward to coming back many more times. Gracias Hugo!"
