Super 8 by Wyndham Monticello

"Worst Worst Worst. Avoid at any cost. Vijay Brhambhat the manager of this Super 8 Motel is a thief and the most cruel person you will ever come across. He seems to be an A$$hole who does not know how to take care of his tenants. Even looking at the below images he was not ashamed and did not give even 1$ refund. All the other good reviews are paid reviews. I also complained to Wyndham but he has some good connects to get himself out of trouble. I would not want my enemy also to stay in this worst motel. Not safe for Women and Kids."

"Place is way overpriced for the value and experience. Partying in the parking lot and noise incidence issues. Room also seemed to have a large critter living in the wall/ceiling. We paid way too much for this 2 star hotel. Signs that people were living there too which never is a good sign. Will not be staying there in our next trip to the area. Sadly the Wyndam hotels seem to be declining into this status. Will look at changing rewards programs."

"This place was clean but very old and dated. Cigarette burns in the bathroom counter, stains in the ceiling, doors don't fit or shut very well. The late evening visitors to the hotel were quite entertaining. For the money really should not of expected much. Staff were friendly. Decent continental breakfast was included."

"Avoid at all costs. We paid $111 for our single bed room. We did not expect much for that price but we did expect a clean, safe room. The room was inhabitable. There was a puddle of dried blood on our mattress. Cigarette burn holes throughout the entire room and in all linen. The room reeked of mold, urine and smoke. The door latch was missing. Crack heads wondered around everywhere. The steps leading to the second floor were soft and feel like they’re getting ready to collapse. I was hesitant on posting this because I understand there are mistakes but after reading the reviews, this owner is definitely aware of these repeating concerns and does nothing about it. We also told the manager about the issues. Do not give places like this your money."

"There are pros and cons for this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are well thought out. Breakfast is included and while simple there are enough choices. The whole building needs to be refurbished. The carpets were heavily stained in the rooms, hallways and landing. The walls and shower needed heavy duty cleaning. The bathtub was very slippery. Definitely overpriced for the standard of hotel"
