"I was talked into a quick express cut which was priced at $25 on the pricing brochure which was not a problem since I only required a trim, when I was seated at the stylist station we went over the trim I wanted, I was keeping the style I had it just required trimming , during the consultation she never explained or informed me of the different stylist levels and the difference in what each level of stylist could charge. So for a quick dry, no shampoo, no conditioner, no blowdry , no style trim I was beyond surprised when I was told at the register that I was being charged $40 instead of the expected $25 because the stylist was a "master level cutter" and her rates were different. She should have made sure I understood that before the service..... I will not be going back."

"They rushed the hair cut. Cut the hair in a way that I never saw anyone do before. She didnt even check to see if its even. I didnt ask for layers but somehow got them. Also she didnt even cut straight. Looked jagged and so many different lengths. Save yourself the trouble and go to the other hair salon in the mall. Its cheaper there and I have always gotten a fabtastic cut from those ladies. Its also cleaner there as well. Also my first impression of the hair stylist was is she drunk?"

"I really liked my experience at this salon in JC penny. I never knew it even existed. It was my very 1st time in there the place was very clean, people were very nice to help. Kayla was my hairstylist 1st time meeting her.she is a very young lady. I was very Pleased with her Service. I went and cut my own hair chopped it up a bit and SHE FIXED IT ! Thank God she knew exactly what to do. She asked the right questions and Got it done right. I’m very pleased with my service I received from Kayla the stylist who did my hair. I believe I found my new hairstylist right there in JC Penny. Who knew they even had a salon in there. I sure DIDNT. We are fairly new to the area. I thought I was going to have a hard time finding my new hair stylist cause I’m very picky with my hair. But NOPE found her already. I sure am glad I went into JC penny that day. I also found out I need a purple shampoo she hooked me up with matrix purple shampoo. I CANT wait to try it today. I will keep ya’ll posted on my results. Thank you Kayla"
