"Mike is a natural teacher and master of his trade. He is patient and generous with his knowledge. When discussing tanks and their inspections requirements he showed me examples of safe tanks and cross-sections of failed tanks and explained how failures happen and ways to minimize the likelihood of failures happening. Mike is transparent and meticulous with his maintenance procedures which gives me full confidence in his work. I rented and subsequently purchased a tank from him and I will definitely be returning for fills, gear, and continued learning."
"We started our training with Mike (got certified on vacation). He was knowledgeable and patient."
"I was misinformed that the none Padi certification would not be a problem to finish the open water at any business. I called key west scuba, and they informed me that this was not true! Ok, no problem. I called mike and asked to have my purchase reimbursed. He responded that I would need to return to the store so he could use my card to do this. Maybe this is true! If it is, what A terrible system! Not a good experience."
"We took our first lesson here and we are having a blast! It was too far from home to continue with training, but Mike took the time to get us off to a great start. The most important thing for new divers in training is to learn how to stay safe and have fun. We did both in the first introductory class. We are seniors in fair physical condition but we were able to complete our dive training and we are going to the Florida Keys in 2 weeks and Australia in April. Thank you Mike (and staff) for starting us forward on a great new adventure!"
"I completed both of my open water certification dives at this shop, and the experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful picking out masks, fins, and wet suits. Even though I was only in the area for the summer, I still consider them my local dive shop."
