"Such a gem of a place nestled nicely in the Village of Eagle, near Chester Springs…. This is my “go to” for a really good breakfast sandwich and a great tasting Latte! The staff here are great! The ambience is great! Love supporting the Local Cafes that provide Real Food, Handcrafted drinks, and wonderful service! I loved this location when it used to be Juniper Tree, and now love it even more since it’s become Park Road Cafe. The menu has been greatly expanded. The fresh baked goods are incredible and this place also serves smoothies, hot tea, and other drinks!"
"I really wanted to like this cafe and support a local small business, but my second visit left me with mixed feelings. I evaluate cafes based on price, food quality, and service, and here's my breakdown: Price: Unfortunately, this cafe is on the expensive side. Our family ordered an Americano, hot chocolate, iced matcha, acai bowl, avocado toast, and a breakfast sandwich, and the total came to a whopping $67.96. An acai bowl alone costs $18.25, and an Americano set us back $4.90. Food: The food quality is decent, definitely better than what you'd find at a convenience store, but it doesn't justify the high prices. My biggest disappointment was the acai bowl, which arrived completely frozen and inedible (and by frozen I mean like a brick). It took a significant amount of time before it was even edible, and for nearly $20, I expected a freshly made acai bowl. So, unless you don't mind waiting around for half an hour, I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Service: Unfortunately, the wait times at this cafe are a major issue. During our first visit, we waited an astonishing 45 minutes without ordering ahead. On our second visit, we tried ordering ahead at 9 am and received confirmation that it would be ready by 9:35-9:45. However, when we arrived, the place was empty, and we were told that the order had just gone through. We ended up waiting until 9:55, almost a full hour after placing our order ahead of time. In conclusion, my feedback to the owners is that for the high price of food and drinks, customers expect freshly made items and orders to be ready as promised. While I appreciate supporting local businesses, this cafe has some room for improvement in terms of both food quality and service."
"Juniper Tree is such a hidden gem in Eagle View. Their PB and Avocado toast are great. Additionally, their craft coffee beverages and smoothies are amazing."
"The decor of the shop was very warm and cozy. The employees were very nice and friendly. They greeted us as soon as we came in and waited for us to look at the menu before ordering. The food and drinks were just okay. I got avacado toast which were just three little pieces of toast with a bit of mashed avacado and a bit of seasoning. The pumpkin bread was good but it would be better if they warmed it for you. The macarons and chocolate donuts were good but not stored at the proper temperature so I'd recommend letting them sit to come to room temperature for best enjoyment. The energy balls were good but the flavor was a little off. I think it just might be I prefer mine made with a different type of peanut butter. My chai tea was bland in flavor but my spouse said his coffee was very good. I will probably come back when it's warmer out to try their smoothies and other food items to get a better idea of what good to get here."
"It’s been a long time since I have been back to “the village of Eagle” so I was excited to see that juniper tree was serving coffee here! I love finding coffee shops that not only serve good coffee, but have soul and personality. This place checks all the boxes, and is worth a detour to visit. You can’t go wrong with a place that has Wyeth paintings on the wall. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back to visit. Friendly crew there too!"
