"Hired countertop guru to replace my kitchen countertop. The pros: the work in itself is good and the workmanship has held up (been over a year now). The cons: getting him to schedule was challenging during the install. Post install, a small slab was missing from a small section countertop. We agreed that he would come back to install it; however it has been more than a year and in spite of many follow-ups, this small piece of slab is yet to be installed."

"Just had our laminate kitchen countertops replaced with granite, and the Countertop Guru was excellent! We had a few special requests that required some adjustments to our old countertop sizes, and they nailed the measurements. You might find a cheaper company, but they likely will not include all the services and parts that Guru does. Guru included a new sink, new faucet, and took care of all the plumbing and gas connections. I was able to hire one company to do it all in one day. Home Depot and Lowes will make you hire multiple specialists, which will drive the price up and draw the project out. Guru had it done in about 5 hrs. We are very happy with the quality of work, and the effort they put in to make sure the countertops were a perfect fit, while making a few adjustments to our old layout. They are a small privately owned company, who cares about their work quality and customer satisfaction. That is hard to find around here with home contractors."
