"DO NOT COME HERE, if you want GOOD service 3 clerks at registers no one allowed me to checkout. Stood in line awhile awaiting to be called to the counter to complete my purchase. The clerks were too busy arguing across the counters about who would be taking lunch first and last. They saw me awaiting and continued to argue across the store counters. Won’t be returning"
"The store was nice and well-organized. Typical of a Kohl's. I'm giving three stars because I got a 20 percent off coupon after dropping off Amazon returns at Kohls. Because I got the coupon, I spent some time shopping and picked out three shirts. After I waited in line to check out, I was told that the coupon could not be used for the IZOD branded shirts that I selected. I would not have selected those shirts at the listed price without the coupon. I feel a little frustrated and misled."
"Tonya was a very friendly and pleasant cashier. She was patient and helpful while I searched through my emails for my coupon. The store manager was also very engaging with all of the customers. Thank you for making it a nice shopping experience during a very busy time of year!"
"I went into the store today and asked an employee where can I find the long sleeve button down the front dress shirts. She pointed me in the direction of the women's dresses instead. Judging by her heavy accent I take it that English is not her preferred language."
"Poor customer service experience I've been a shopper at this store for over four years, and my experience had always been quite positive until a recent encounter. I purchased items for my daughter just before the school year began, but a few days later, I realized that two items that I bought for myself, when combined, seemed pricier than expected. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of waiting until the final day of the return period due to personal reasons. Upon reaching the counter, they couldn't match the barcode of the items I wanted to return, and the refund amount was lower than anticipated. The cashier suggested that these items might be something else, perhaps adult apparel, and they were unable to retrieve an image from their system for verification. However, I am completely certain that I had purchased children's items and two tops for myself. Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation and clarify that I was charged for items I didn't purchase, the manager on duty seemed disinterested in understanding or assisting. I informed the manager of my intention to escalate the issue to customer care, but he remained unresponsive. Unfortunately, my call to customer care was unproductive due to the nature of the in-store purchase. Instead, I was informed that the two items appeared to be Capri pants in size 10. Strangely, I didn't buy them, and I distinctly remember asking for a price check, but I never finalized the purchase. It's possible that they forgot to remove it from my bill after I declined. I called the store again and was directed back to the same manager, he appeared unhelpful again, even claiming to recall our prior conversation, which left me feeling as if he was intentionally ignoring my concerns. To make matters more challenging, they were unable to provide a resolution due to the inability to access old in-store video recordings. While I would have accepted the situation if a refund couldn't be issued, what truly disappointed me was the absence of empathy and an apology for the inconvenience caused. This experience has seriously dented my perception of their customer service and I think I'm done with Kohls ."
