"Stopped in for dinner for the first time ever on a Saturday night. The food was delicious, the waitress was great. The only thing I could say on the negative side is that there was no hostess at the podium so we stood there for a while waiting (it said please wait to be seated) and finally just walked back to the dining room. "I am one of 3 ladies who hosted a baby shower at The Bowers Hotel yesterday. This place is a hidden gem. If you're looking for the perfect location for your own shower or party and asking yourself if this would be a good fit the answer is, hands down, Y-E-S. We searched the Macungie, Emmaus, Kutztown, & even Pottstown areas high & low for a good venue but had no peace until we found The Bowers Hotel. Bonnie, the manager, makes everything easy and acceptable. She's happy to help and doesn't make you feel like your questions and requests are a burden - that's not the case with all managers; her great attitude was a breath of fresh air. The event server was also above and beyond in her professionalism and helpfulness. She had a great attitude that helped put everyone at ease. The hotel's event room is quaint and charming. It was THE PERFECT place for our baby shower. Everyone had a relaxed, peaceful time in an elegant setting. The ambiance of the room is very satisfying and with the Fall accents we splashed around (orange and yellow leaves, a few strings of LED lights etc.) plus lit candles, it created an ideal atmosphere - the one you only dream of but don't think exists. All of this to say, The Bowers Hotel is unbeatable. Everyone had a first class experience here."
