"A very nice restaurant with great food and service. We got the brunch they have on Sunday and it was great all around. The prices weren't bad either, and the place sits right next to the Appalachian Trail. The only problem was the heavy fog we had to go through to get there."

"Worth the trip. We visited on a drive home and weren’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, staff is all super friendly and helpful. Food was great - LOTS of comfort food options - it was hard to decide. I had the short rib shepherd’s pie and my husband the chicken pot pie - both were delicious. Had the crab and spinach appetizer - it was good, not necessarily great, but it the mains really were delicious. Will plan to return again when passing through."

"Located at mile 1246 along the Appalachian trail, I was honestly surprised how wonderful the food was here for an early dinner for four. The chicken soup of the day was one of the best I’ve had ever at a restaurant. Hearty but not too thick with generous slices of white chicken, perfectly cut carrots and veggies in an authentic broth. Ditto for the authentic onion soup in a traditional rich broth and just the right melted cheese and bread. Great staff too."
