"Stopped in to try lunch. Place is very dated, cold and no background music so can hear a pin drop. Servers were having a grand old time and were a bit loud and obnoxious in such a quiet place it was a bit much to listen to. Our server never came back after dropping food off. As a server you are getting paid by the customer, how do you expect good tips or any tip if you can not follow the simplest of server 101 and do the bare minimum? Take order drop food check on customer couple mins later. Apparently our server pictured below, her phone was more important than the 2 customers in the building. We were your only table and had to even ask for the check. This is why you received a $0 tip, we tip based on service as most do. I don’t blame Food on the server or anything else, but the service was awful. Newsflash people eat out for service and convenience. You can’t take either of those away and expect people to come to your establishment when they could just make it themselves for a quarter of the price. Prices are reasonable, food was typical mediocre diner food. Corned beef in Ruben was very tough and chewy, turkey was ok on sandwich. Fries were tasty. I would not come back."

"Utter trash. I went here for lunch with my mother and aunt when I sat down I had found a BLOODY straw wrapping that’s right BLOODY.Disgusted I fling it off my chair and order a burger. The burger came looking like it was dug up from the garbage thrown in microwave and then served on a plate. I choke it down and it was mediocre at best could be better.But halfway through I lost my appetite when I saw the ground.ITS DISGUSTING. I’ve been to restaurants where if there’s food on the ground they clean the whole table the ground to! Here they leave the trash on the ground. Disgusted I order dessert. A rice pudding and it came looking like MUSH. Like someone chewed it up and spat it onto my bowl. It was cold and warm at the same somehow!? It was over cooked and undercooked to at the same time! I wonder how how this place is still even open!? It’s absolutely disgusting like this place theme is to littered with trash….You can eat here but you might leave with a disease!"

"Amazing food! The portions are big and priced fairly. Very American atmosphere. Nancy (the waitress) was incredibly friendly, efficient and very nice with our kids. We enjoyed this place a lot!"

"Don't let the looks of this place scare you away. It is your typical local Country restaurant. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. They are constantly working and keeping the customers happy. The food was surprisingly delicious. The steak and cheese had peppers, onions, and mushrooms that were cooked perfectly with steak slices. It wasn't the paper thin steak either but thicker pieces of sirloin. The hamburgers also had quality meat and a good size patty. The fries were crispy with great flavor and perfect amount of salt. We got a slice of cherry pie and it tasted homemade. Delicious! The price was excellent !! So put first impressions aside and try one of there meals."
